This is the second headset I have owned, First headset was a cheap headset. This headset is a much better improvement over my previous without having to spend fifty to a hundred bucks. I have had it for a few weeks now and still works great after many hours of use. I am using it with an XBox One with the new style controllers. No adapter needed. Sound quality is great and the mic is crisp and clear for other users across the wire. The headphones are comfortable for me after a long time wearing them, no problem there. Sound cancellation is great as well. Maybe not so good for those in my house trying to talk to me :) I would say for the price, these are a great deal. The seem very durable and should last a long time.

Perfect Gaming Headset for the Price!

The headset arrived intact and in perfect condition. As expected, the headset is constructed of lightweight plastic materials. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy; I'm not sure it could survive a long fall or a five-year-old's grasp. However, I take pretty good care of my things, and it seems to be built well enough that I will get my money's worth and many hours of use. It's pretty slick looking (I got the camouflage), with chrome accents on the sides, and fits well on my head with intuitive adjustment points. The microphone is easily adjustable and stays in the position I set it in. The mic audio quality is good, as well. The cord appears to be well made, although there is a pinch point on the cord near where it splits into the aux and USB connectors; I will keep an eye on it. I like the lights on the outsides of the headphones; they alternate through a couple of the primary colors. Be aware that they are powered by the USB. I use this on my PS4, so unless I connect the USB to a power pack or similar power source, they aren't on when I use them. Not a big deal since I can't see them while I'm wearing them, anyway. I have already worn them for approximately 8-10 hours of gameplay, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The ear pads are very soft and pliable. My only complaint is after wearing the headset for awhile, I experienced some mild discomfort on the top of my head. There is ample padding there, but it's not as pliable as the ear pads. Also, I used the headset to listen to Spotify on my laptop, and the audio quality for music was somewhat lackluster. However, I purchased the headset for gaming, and for that it has delivered and met my expectations. I would recommend this headset to anyone looking for a solid bargain and a capable gaming accessory. The company has very responsive customer service, which was worthy of the fifth star. Definitely a good gaming investment.

Decent headset at a good price.

This headset has everything I was looking for. While the lights require a separate USB connection and don't work without it, this should be understood by any purchaser. It's not like you can power it from a headset jack and why would you want to waste battery on lights anyhow. As for sounds quality, it's perfectly fine. The some is crisp and clear and works well for gaming and videos alike. The added benefit of the earphones is that the pads are quite large and form a decent seal to block or at least muffle outside noise. The quality of the building is nice. Nothing feels like it's going to just break off and everything is just form enough without being too tight anywhere. Obviously for is different for each person, but as someone with a fairly large head these worked fine for me. I do enjoy that the cord is generously long and cloth insulated. The only thing I would change is the mic. There's no bearing or arm system, just a goose neck. Honestly it works fine, but it's a feature I've had on others that I miss here.

Really great built quality for the price

I was a little weary about purchasing this headset, coming from an old Razer headset that recently broke.... I didnt have the money or want to go after a really expensive headset.... After reading a lot of the reviews for this headset, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. When i received it, the build quality seemed a little cheaper, but aligns with what I would expect for the price. The padding is stiff, which means it will last a long time! The ear muffs are nice and plush too, which was unexpected. They hug my very large head nicely. The sound quality was pretty stinking good too! I had to get used to playing with updated quality sound! In short, would I recommend this to a friend? Heck yeah!

Worth the price for sure.

I really like this headset. It's not like you're buying a $100-$500 headset so don't expect that kind of quality. However, I am surprised about how well the headset works for the money. The material and paint looks good on the green camp version I have. I haven't played for an extended period yet to test the comfort over time but the comfort so far has been nice. It does come with an adapter for use with pc that some have or you can use the 3.5mm jack. I like the inline volume wheel and mute toggle switch. The cord seems durable as well with sturdy connections. I think this headset will last a while and perform well. I can tell when people are left and right in Call of Duty as well so that aspect is actually usable. Some headsets say they do that but you can't tell. I would say I'm really happy with my purchase. The only negative thing I have to say is, I wish the light wasn't powered by USB. I can only use the light on pc or I don't see how I would power it. I wish that part took batteries. I would recommend this headset if you want a low cost headset that's actually worth the money.

Good Bass and balanced sound, Clear mic, Comfortable, Better than Turtle Beach Recon50

So I was skepticle I have to admit but I wanted to give them a try before getting another pair of Turtle Beaches. These are better than Turtle Beaches Rcon 50's. These Runmus gaming headphones are better than the turtle beaches I already have. If your buying the lower level of Gaming headphones under 50 dollars or so. The sound quality has a really great balance, with the 50mm speaker compared to the Turtle Beaches Recon50 40mm speakers. The Runmus is able to to give a greater low bass and high trebles. So whether your listening for footsteps or want to feel the sound of a bomb explosion these are amazing. The surround sound does work well. Also depending on what games you are playing and how their sound is set up is dependent how well it will transfer to surround 3D sound. But overall very good Clear mic I have had no problems with the mic at all everyone hears me perfectly fine. Good switch that you can hook to your shirt. The headphone cushion is great and even more comfortable than a Turtle Beach Recon50. These fit over ears better and do not sweat as much as my previous turtle beaches. Nice length of cord since it can be used with PC which they give the adapter for. I am thoroughly pleased and will be getting another pair. Get these cor your kids first pair. I got mine in green camo they look awesome. The LED has to be plugged into a USB for power but your not going to see them while wearing them so no need that's mostly for computer gaming.

Definitely good quality for heavy usage

I bought these for my son who does a lot of gaming - online, xbox, switch, etc. He usually twists the cords too much and then they start to fall apart. So far this has been holding up really well with daily usage. I like that the mic is adjustable so that he can keep it in the right position but pull it farther away from his mouth. It was also really nice to find a set that has a different look to them - we chose the Camo ones. He says that they are really comfortable to wear for long periods as well (considering he's probably playing online more than not this is a good thing).

Impressed with the first, got a second one.

I’m gonna be the talk of the office with this headphone!! 😂 Gamer at heart and I didn’t want just any regular headset for my Teams meetings, so I got these.. Out of the box, the headphone looked sturdy. I had to mess around with the input for my computer for it to work but tried it on the Switch and it work fairly quick.. Sound was great and quiet!! For someone with a big head, it was also pretty comfortable.. My only gripe, but maybe irrelevant to many is that I wish the microphone can rotate but luckily it is flexible.. It matters to me because I don’t like to fully wear the headphones over my head as it’ll ruin my hair!! LMAO.. Therefore I need the microphone to be able to be close to my mouth.. 😬.. But I can simply flip the headphone so that the microphone is on the right and closer to my mouth.. 🙌.. But so far so good.. Only the test of time, and perhaps laughter from my coworkers, will alter my review.. Update: I liked the first so much that I bought another one for my nephew. Great headphones for both adults and kids. Loving it so far.

Beyond Expectations

I bought this headset for my 8 year old for Xbox gaming. We loved the appearance at first as well as the fact that the reviews were good. However, after using this set today for the first time, he loved it. Out of curiosity, I tried the set too and I have to say that the sound quality is way beyond my expectation, definitely for the headset in this price range. The set is very comfortable, the ear pads are actually going around the earlobes, leaning against your scull so you can wear them comfortably as log as you want. The noise cancellation seems to be achieved through well sealed pads instead the frequency cancelling device, but that is exactly what we expected in this price range. We are all happy with the purchase. Great value. Probably, the happiest of all are my wife and I since will not have to listen the sounds of gaming rumbling through the house again.
