I am no stranger to coveralls, and my others are all Dickies, but they never seem to feel right...so I ordered a pair of these just to try. They came in today and after trying them on I ordered 3 more. They are heavy enough to be durable for most stuff without being restrictive. They have more sizes than Dickies, so getting a good fit is possible. For reference in terms of sizing, I am 6'1 and 180 pounds, and a 42 long fits perfectly. I have a slight belly at the moment, but there is room enough around the waist. If I was any thicker around the middle it might be an issue. I wear 33x36 pants and a large in most shirts, but a large shirt is barely loose on me. A medium shirt is very tight.

These coveralls look fantastic! They also feel very durable. I’m using them for a Michael Myers costume and they do the job perfectly in the Spruce Green color. Be careful to read the sizing though. A size 42 is not for a 42 inch waist. The number is your chest measurement. Most of the bad reviews on these are from people who don’t know how to read sizing charts. Although I would still order a size up or two. I’m 5’9”, 145 lbs, and have about a 39” chest and i ordered the 42s. I could have sized down to a 40 but it all depends on how you want them to fit and your individual body type. Anyways, I’m extremely impressed!

Fit: I am a female 5'5" 135 pounds. 34-27-38. Longer torso and shorter legs. I got the 40 regular and the torso fit great. Any smaller and I wouldn't be able to remove it without a struggle. The inseam is a little long for me so I would get it hemmed, except I won't bc I'm wearing 7" stilettos with this for a costume. The arms are a little long too but I'm glad I got the 40 so my torso fit nicely. The fabric is thick enough that under bright lights I suspect it will not turn transparent. This is yet to be tested. Great product. Zipper is easy. I have the collar flipped up in the picture. 5/5 would buy again!

All Vault Dwellers unite! All around awesome suit, but if you're like me you're probably wondering how the heck this fits. So lemme give you our experience. First, huge thanks to Amazon for having free shipping (Prime) and free returns. I had a hard time determining trunk length on this jumpsuit. I even went so far as to tweet Red Kap and asked how to actually measure my trunk length- to no avail. FOR WOMEN: Go for the free returns if you're not sure on your size. I couldn't get a gauge on anything because my proportions aren't manly and my body is long. I'm 5'7, 175lbs, top heavy with a freakishly long torso. I originally ordered the 44 Long and the 44 Regular and both were too big for me. The long was especially massive. The long was intensely droopy in the crotch and butt, but the regular wasn't too far off. Returning those, I nabbed the 42 Regular which turned out fine. I was nervous that it'd look weird in the arms, or worse... I'd be rocking some major camel toe and be stuck with the droopy suit I'd have to tailor down. I was pleasantly surprised. My best guess would be that for women with long bodies (such as myself) you don't need to really worry about getting a long if you're 5'8 and under. I'd probably just order one size up and roll with it. The regular is just a hair short in the trunk length on me but it's as good as it's going to get. I seriously can't ask for more. It's NOT a flattering suit, by any means, but it has room for tailoring if needed. Arms and shoulders are just a slight bit bulky, but fits me fine in the bust and legs. If I wear yoga pants and a tank top underneath and raise my arms up I sport a small bit of camel toe, but it's worth the sacrifice in order to find a suit that relatively fits the rest of my body. I won't be doing any jumping jacks in it any time soon, if you catch my drift. I'd likely wear a thin pair of shorts- there are "vents" on the side and I haven't quite figured those out yet. Putting the suit on is fine. Taking it off? Whole other story. I need assistance removing my shoulders and arms from the suit itself due to how close the trunk clips me on my frame. Make sure you have a buddy to yank it off of you come time if you're like me and cutting the trunk size close. MATERIAL: right now is a little bit scratchy, but after some washes and wears I'm sure the fabric will soften. It's a warm suit, so if you're headed off to a con or wearing it in summer, beware of sweating your butt off. I tried this on in A/C and I was warm standing in it. It'll be perfect for a chilly Halloween. FOR BIG MEN: My partner is a whopping 6'4 and comes in at 250lbs. We were worried he'd be rocking high waters and a moose knuckle. Not the case. He tried on the 52, 52 long and the 48 long. He kept the 48 long and it fits perfectly. No moose knuckles and no high waters. Overall looks comfortable on him. COLORS: They're not nearly as bright as they appear on Amazon. The electric blue turned out to be not nearly as electric as we originally were expecting, which we were thrilled about. It looks spot on for what we were hoping for. The Postman Blue was much darker, more of a vintage, dusty blue look. I can't imagine getting the Navy for the vault dweller suit, it would have been way too dark. All in all you can't beat the price, the colors are perfect, and the returns even better. Hopefully this reviewed helped y'all out! Happy Fallout costuming!

I am Female. I work a sawmill. Im 5'6 - 5'7, 160 ish pounds, 36C. I got the 42 and it fits well for work purposes. When I'm just standing the crotch seems low but then when I lift up my arms it touches, so that's good there. I had to roll the sleeves up two turns, but I think if I had gotten a smaller size I wouldn't have been able to lift my arms. The pants come down over my boots but dont go under my heel, I did not have to roll the bottoms, they were perfect. And since this is for work, and not a costume, its important to be able to move. I can wear this over jeans and a sweatshirt. The material is thick and kind of scratchy, so I think it will hold up well in the dirt and grease and not be easily torn. The charcoal grey is the same as the picture, mechanic grey. I dont think I could wear these in the NC summer, they are not lined but they are thick. But they will be great through the fall and winter.

I based what size to get on reviews (THANK YOU!). I got a size 46 for myself (I was 220lb at the time, female, 5'8, heavy at the hips). I've lost a little weight but it still suits my costume needs. My husband got a 42 long - he's 200lb and 6 foot. We did budget Star Wars TFA Resistance pilots and had a blast at SDCC with these! We tie them off at the waist and they're super comfy. Note that the fabric isn't super lush, but hey, you get what you pay for and for a costume it works well for us :)

I used these coveralls to make my Super Dave costume. The waist doesn’t taper at all, so I sewed an inch wide elastic waistband into it. I’m no seamstress, but this worked well. I also needed to ride my bike in it. The ankles were a little loose and seemed like it might get caught in the bike chain, so I used zip ties on my ankles. That worked surprisingly well (but of course I needed scissors to remove them). I’m 5’7 and wear pant size 8/10. My measurements are 36” 29” 40”. I bought a size 40. It worked well. I maybe could have gotten a size smaller if I didn’t need to pedal a bike. This isn’t an overtly sexy costume... but I felt pretty cool in it. It wasn’t that kinda party, but you could wear something pretty skimpy under it and not zip it up all the way.🤷🏼♀️Just throwing it out there. Lastly, I owned a landscaping company and I wish I had had a pair of these then. It would have prevented mulch or straw getting places you don’t want it. These coverall are well made and ready for work.

I am 5' 10'' 240lbs. I am stocky not a blob but do have a little bit of a beer gut. I ordered the size 54 reg and they fit fine. These are coveralls and you want them to have room so you can wear clothes underneath if you want to. I want to be able to squat down and touch the floor without these coveralls ripping in the butt or constricting the crotch area. I want to be able to reach for the ceiling without the sleeves coming down to my elbows or feeling constricted in the shoulders/chest. The size I bought (54reg) gives me all this freedom without being to baggy. These are well made, not cheap thin material, and they are kinda heavy. My chest measures 48, my waist in pants size is 38-40 and the size coveralls I ordered fit great. They have slits on the side you won't notice so you can reach into your pants pockets if you wear pants underneath them. The spruce green color is dark, just like in the picture. I bought these for a costume but if I need work clothes or something like that these will definitely fit the bill because they are well made and feel like they can take a lot of abuse and last many many many years.

I am 6' 4" and 190 lbs. I spent a LOT of time reading through the reviews trying to find the right size. It's by far the most difficult aspect of buying one of these. I bought mine ( a 46 Long) for a prison costume, with the intent of wearing it over sweatpants, a sweatshirt and a thin jacket. It fit comfortably, not too tight around the groin area while also not being too baggy. If you're ordering to wear it with less clothing underneath, you could get away with a smaller size too. I initially order a 50 Long and it was way too big. Hopefully this helps people of similar size to myself as I struggled to find reviews of people roughly my size. As for fit/quality, my friend and I bought the Red Kap jump suit when most of our friends bought the Ann Arbor version. Nearly every Ann Arbor person tore theirs, and they were much thinner and cheaper material, without pockets or a front zipper (buttons instead). In the sizes I was ordering, these were only about $10 more so it was easily justified given quality difference to get the Red Kap ones. My advice: read as many reviews as you can until you find someone your size and go from there.

This seems like a nice, well made coverall. But take heed, it does run small. I am 5' 8", so short. And I weight 195, so not thin but not really chubby. I would have probably ordered a 42, but I read some other reviews and ordered a 46. I'm glad I did, because it fits... and not loosely at all. I wouldn't have wanted anything smaller. As is, it takes effort to get into it. I don't plan on wearing it over a coat or anything, so like I said, it's perfect. But that's something else to consider as well. Length-wise I hemmed the legs about an inch is all, so if you're much taller than me you might even consider the "long" size. You have been warned. : )
