Perfect. Just what I wanted.

I need to fill many water jugs for farmers to take with them to the fields, on their tractors. Best ice for jugs is big chunks. I freeze our ice in Cool Whip containers because those containers are made with a softer type of plastic that doesn't crack with frozen. The ice needs to be broken in half to fit in the 2 quart water jugs. One pop with an ice pick does the job very well. Many people don't know the proper way to use an ice pick. DO NOT stab at the ice with the pick. Instead simply set the tip of the pick onto the ice, then use your other hand to pop the top of the pick handle once. The ice will break cleanly ad neatly, plus you will not be stabbing anything else (like the counter top) in the process.

Economic and good quality. Was missing having an ice pic in my home since I moved 3 years ago and was so happy to get it back into my kitchen draw again as it is such a handy tool to have around.
