2010 Honda Fit
Took a bit of time to remove the old and install the new handle 45+min, cowling and plastic removal was the pain. Winters in the Northeast take a toll on bare metal and salt somehow finds its way into the back compartment to this handle's mechanism. But once replaced it is night and day, old handle needed constant forcing back into position to function (no grease, lubricant etc worked). Replaced in Dec of 2019, review is of July 2020 and still working well, no issues. Definitely would recommend if having similar issues with handle malfunction.

EASY INSTALL, save money $$
2016 Dodge Charger- very disappointed how quickly the original burnt out. Over $100 on auto parts dealer sites, lord knows what a shop would charge. Open trunk, look up. There's a dark gray box with two torx screws- remove it ($10 multi tool available, look for torx wrench). Use a little force to pop out the trunk liner, work it around the existing latch, don't have to remove all of it. Highly recommend NOT having anything in your trunk because if you drop a screw, well, good luck finding it. To diagnose- push your trunk release button. If the little white plastic half circle deal only moves a little, time to replace it. One wire harness on the back, two 10mm bolts hold it in, one holds the ground wire. Remove the old, chuck it, pop the new one in, bolt it in with the ground, replace everything else, and trunk is popn'. VERY HAPPY with this, super easy to replace, even if you're not a "car person" it's a great way to learn and save $$$. THANK YOU for a great product at a very fair price!!

Dependable replacement for 2017 Hyundai Sonata trunk latch issues
If you own a Hyundai Sonata, be prepared to possibly make this purchase. I was getting ready to leave work and found my trunk just open after exiting building. I tried several times to close the trunk but no luck. After spending an hour looking at forums and trying to fix this issue, I finally located a thin piece of rope and tied my trunk down enough to drive safely home (over 30 miles). I ordered this part after doing more research and it came a day earlier than Amazon said it would. 15 min of work saved me over $600 price quote from dealership. Tested it by driving over bumps to see if it would hold. Key to open the trunk now works again, as well as the button in the car (driver's side) to open the trunk. This even fixed my light issue in the trunk (had not been working for over 8 months). I have another one of these on the way just in case. Search forums and you will see that this is a know Hyundai issue, but no recall has been done. They use a plastic part where there is a lot of tension and thus it can give (either you can't open the trunk or you can't close the trunk). So far so good.

2009 Camry XLE
Worked for my 2009 Camry XLE. It didn't come with the metal rod or the plastic clip to hold the rod so I had to use my old one. I had to be very careful with taking it out of the plastic clips because the car was already over 10 years old. Luckily, my clips weren't brittle so I sprayed some silicone spray on the clip and rod and I was able to take it out and reuse my old clip and rod. Also watching YouTube helped me to replace the trunk latch actuator. I saved over $140 in parts and more $ since I provided my own labor.

Easy to install, and working wonderfully!!
It’s been couple of weeks I bought and install this tailgate latch on my Hyndai Elantra 2016 Limited and fitted perfectly, and it’s been working like it was never replaced (before the original stopped working of course) highly recommended, super easy to install! I’m a 30 year old female, YouTube the whole process and was able to install in less than 10 mins, no boyfriend needed :)

Right part, easy fix.
Right part for the broken trunk latch on my wifes 2015 Elantra. Took about 20 minutes total to take the trunk liner out, replace the latch, and put the liner back in. Piece of cake.....

Price is way better than from car shops and the product is exactly the same , thank you :)
It takes a few screws to loosen out the trunk of my Hyundai but hey, that’s how it’s built yet the installation and removal of the tailgate lock was easy and thankful that this product was all in one with the spring and latch.

Perfect fit
Nothing quite like having you trunk latch refuse to latch on you. Bungee cords just don't do it. This latch fit perfectly and works great. It really saved the day.

Great price, great part!
Used on a 2011 Chevy Silverado. It took less than 10 minutes to install the latch, including removing the door panel! From a dealer, this latch costs around $130, but this $50(+/-) price tag is much more reasonable!

It fits a Sonata!
I bought this hoping it would work on our 2018 Sonata and it does. I could only find the one listed for it at the dealership for $99.00. There was also a 2 week back order for the correct one, Part #81230-C1500.
