Very Solid Material

I purchased this to protect important documents and it holds the documents with an inner zipper and velcro closure. The material seems very solid; hopefully i will never have to find out how effective it is. I decided to get something like this for my documents because my friend had a pipe burst in her home, which caused severe water damage, and made its way to her file cabinet which ruined several of her important documents. So again, I hope I never have to find out how effective the material is from water or fire damage, but it does feel very solid and has a good capacity.

Great Product

Durable and it holds a lot of stuff! Perfect for protecting our important documents. I put several items in the bag including some thick magazines and I still had usable space available. I love that it has both a zipper and velcro to keep it securely closed.

Fireproof document bag for my peace of mind!

I purchased this to hold titles, passports, and birth certificates when we had them in our home. We usually keep these documents in a safety deposit box. However, here lately my husband has had need of several of these items more frequently and being able to store them in this bag has set my mind at ease. As the bag has not been through a fire in my home I do not know if it is 100% fire proof but my husband did put it through its paces with his own tests and believes it is. I just know it gives me a sense of security that these documents are safe.

This Fireproof & Waterproof Document Bag is very thick and strong. It zips closed AND then has the strongest Velcro closure I have EVER seen or used. We are keeping our important documents in it, such as social security cards, insurance policies, birth certificates, and any other items like that, to keep them safe, should we ever have any fire or flooding. I am pretty confidant this would keep things as they should be AND easy to locate as well. I'm thankful to have this and can recommend it.

This Fireproof Bag is definitely a must have in every house. I will be purchasing more for Christmas gifts. Additional security for your life's most important documents.

The pouch is pretty large and can hold many documents like passports, birth certificates, deeds and other legal papers. It's made with thick material, with a tight plastic zipper and velcro seal. The only thing is how fireproof is it? I don't ever want to find out but I feel that my important documents are more secure in this pouch, than what they were in before.

Great Grab Bag

I lost my home to fire back in 2012, the week afterwards was a living nightmare. It wasn’t just the homeless part that made it terrible, not having a passport, cash, or any credit cards just made matters so much worse! Try checking into a hotel, or getting money out of the bank, when all you have is the clothes you have on your back. It just isn't happening. Since then, I've kept spare cards, my passport, a stack of cash, and insurance certificates in a grab bag by the door. This is the much needed upgrade, now i know that I’ll be able to go back for it once the fire is out, and everything I need to get by is going to be waiting for me.

Appears to be VERY well made.

Cant tell you whether or not this works but it's made very well. Stitching, velcro, zipper, seams and material quality are top notch. Can fit all my documents and spare cash. I'm confident it will perform well if need be.

As promised

What can I say? It arrived on time as promised. It’s large enough for 8 1/2 by 11 docs. Will it withstand temps to 2000 degrees? How would I test that? Hope we never find out!

Great document bag

This is a nice size bag. I like the hidden zipper beneath the Velcro. Even though it is fireproof and waterproof, I will still keep it inside a safe. I fold my documents and place in a large size letter envelope before putting the bag.
