Ridiculous Value

I can't believe the haters in these reviews...the knife block has a blemish? At least it's made of wood! This is a very interesting product for under 80 dollars....this is a very good knife set, with full-tang knifes (except the steak knives) and a lot of extras. The wood block I would pay 30 dollars for alone and be happy. There is etching on the knifes made to make them look like Damascus, but it's fake. That's ok, I only care about the quality of the knifes and these are decent. The apron that comes with it isn't a williams sonoma apron, but who cares?! It's a workable apron that is basically a freebie. Unless you are dying to spend 400 on a set of knifes, this is just great.

I bought 2 (1 white and 1 black)

I purchased this knife set upon recommendation from a very good friend. They were very well packaged, but opening and setting them up was very easy and took less than a minute (I had to be careful not to cut myself). There are all kind of knifes. In general, the handle is very ergonomic, and the knifes are well balanced, which allows me to cut straight. The steak knives contain both teeth and smooth edge (1/2 and 1/2). I found that to be very useful. The kitchen knives (there are 4 of different size) are well proportioned. You have all required sizes. The bread knife cuts very well, even if the bread is not crunchy (see picture and video). In addition, there is a ring that I found to be very useful to ensure you do not cut yourself (these knives are very sharp). In summary, I think this set has all you need.

Super value. Recommend.

As an owner of plastic handled knives during my children’s growing years, the time was finally right for an adult knife set. This one is amazing. Beautiful to look at and use. Super sharp. I personally have never used knives this sharp. And I handle sharp things for a living. I have had 2 minor incidents so far, but I am learning how to handle these particular types of knives. But beware, as opposed to plastic handle cheap knives, if you happen to drop one of these, you better get out of the way. With the heft of these knives, it will easily pierce a leather shoe. I never took that into consideration. As a result, I still have my plastic knives for the children. These are strictly off limits. Also hand washing and drying is necessary, and I take care when doing so with these. The kids, not so much. The accessories that came with this knife set are ok. Not particularly useful to me, but a nice plus nonetheless. I was saving for a German knife set, but saved a ton of money. Fully satisfied with this set.

Professional grade knives

I was looking for good knife set as some of my knives from my old set were broken and I was looking for something better quality. I saw this and bought this. I didn’t know what this german carbon stainless steel is but I thought of giving it a try. To my surprise, these knives are excellent quality and super strong along with very very sharp. Cutting is so easy and fun with these knives. It has all types of knives that are required daily in kitchen. Very much impressed with the knife quality. The wooden block is also very heavy and holds these knives well. The handle of the knives are smooth and give perfect grip to the knife.

excellent set

I think this is an overall excellent set of knives. 21 pieces and 15 of them in the wood block. Love that also the sharpener is included, this will make sure that all my knives always cut perfectly. Blades and raelly hard and sharp and that's the most important thing. Plus there is also and apron that I needed and a couple of minor gifts.

Quality = Reasonable Price

It was hard to find a good knife block for under $100. There were so many and so I checked out the reviews and decided to go with this. This was a Christmas gift for my sister. The delivery was prompt and "on time". Lately it seems that even my Prime Membership can't guarantee me timely delivery. My sister loves her knives. She doesn't know how much I paid for them (hehe) but she says they look great, feel sturdy & substantial and gets the job done in the kitchen. If she is happy then so am I.

Impressive

I'm not a chef, needed a better set of knives for everyday use. So this would be my first next level set of knives.. ( from the cheap 20-30$ set) I read great reviews and bad reviews about this set. However, I decided to give them a try. I don't care that they are Damascus look alike, I liked the style. I took notes from those who said their knives rusted...I wash by hand and dry with a soft cloth and put them back in the beautiful block. They are very sharp, I enjoy every extra this set came with but the finger guard and apron, which is like rain coat material, are a wonderful bonus. I enjoy picking up a knife from my set and not struggling through slicing, or dicing whatever I'm tackling. They are not heavy but have enough weight to recognize they have some substance to them... well balanced from my layman point of view. I've only ever owned cheapo sets from local stores. I think this is well crafted and for the price, well worth it. I plan to take care of them so they will last. If there is any change...I will update but for now. Im impressed with this entire set. Hope you are too.

Beautiful knives!

I was hesitant to purchase at first, I always expected to have to spend several hundred dollars to receive this kind of quality. I'm so happy I chose this set. Each of the knives were packaged carefully and sharp right out of the packaging! Super glossy, with a beautiful finish resembling wood grain on the steel. The knife block itself is the perfect shade of nuetral dark brown and smooth. It came with awesome extras like a veggie peeler and meat claws (which I used to make shredded chicken for nachos 🤤) and even a super cute apron! I'll probably get this as a gift for my next friend's wedding or house warming party!

Holds a nice edge.

If you wanted an excellent all-around household knife set, this is it. German Stainless Steel holds a nice sharp edge. Any professional knife will be forged and have a full tang like this one with riveted scales. Honing and using a steel keep the knives sharp. I am sure this will last an easy 20 years with everyday use. I am very happy. The only downside is there is no filleting knife and I never use a bread knife. I may grind this one down to what I need and there will be a space available on my beautiful wooden block.

Sharp!

The Block looks really stylish and the knives are easily accessed. Of course they start out sharp-- I'll get back to you about their duration. (I have no doubt) I was intrigued by the included "meat claws" for shredding meat- - pulled pork came to mind. They are hard plastic and I used them to shred some beef for some sandwiches. they did an excellent job and were easily cleaned. I have not yet used the included apron and other items. More later...
