• Bonus content on Amazon only: digital copy of the silhouette Handbook and 10 exclusive designs. The silhouette Cameo 4 is the evolution in desktop cutting. Conveniently stored in the machine's compact pull-out drawer is a new built in roll feeder for quickly cutting vinyl and heat transfer material directly from a roll. On the back of the Cameo 4 You will find a built in cross cutter allowing for a clean straight edge cut on your vinyl roll for your next project.
  • The Cameo unique dual carriage allows for tool Type detection. The machine's ultra-smart system uses tool sensor technology that detects what tool you are using which then triggers the silhouette Studio software to adjust cut settings automatically.
  • The Cameo 4 stands apart from previous models with the new dual motor system, which allows you to cut in two distinct ways. Carriage one provides the Cameo 4 with unparalleled speed. It is operated from a solenoid motor that gives makers smooth and intricate cuts. Cameo 4 can cut or sketch up to 3x faster than previous models without sacrificing accuracy. Carriage two is operated by an entirely different style of motor that allows for unprecedented power.
  • The Cameo 4 carriage 2 boasts additional cutting force! With the increased downforce of the Cameo 4, we now offer a new rotary and Kraft blade (Sold separately) that have been specifically designed to operate with the Cameo smart tangential technology. With smart tangential technology the Cameo 4 cuts thicker material without sacrificing quality with each cut. The Cameo 4 offers true mat-less cutting which allows cutting cardstock, paper, and other materials without using a mat.
  • The autoblade has been reconfigured especially for the Cameo 4. This second generation autoblade will have a single-tap reset which will reduce the time needed for the Cameo 4 to automatically adjust the blade setting for your project.

I love my cameo 4!! I have used it so many times since I bought it. Its quieter than the 3 and it seems to hold the vinyl down so much better! Use with a mat or without!

Love this! Excited to buy other cutting tools for it! Update: still loving the machine. I’ve had it a little while now, so figured I’d update! It’s a little noisy I feel. Compared to my cameo 3... but works exceptionally well. It’s quick to pull and release which I wasn’t use to at first but not a problem at all, just something I noticed. Overall great machine.

Much better than the Cricut Maker! Probably not quite as easy to use as the Maker as Cricut is for the average mom to get in the game. But this isn't that much harder and I am all about performance and features. The Cameo 4 out does the Maker everytime. It can cut thicker product. It looks sleeker, more modern and futuristic. I did ALOT of comparison shopping on the features of them both before buying. Cameo 4 was the obvious choice after hours research and I am very pleased with my choice!

The Cameo 4 brings us some great upgrades on the Cameo 3. The retractable cover is a space saver! Then comes the moveable roller with updated lock, looks like this one might work way better over time then the Cameo 3 that kept coming unlocked on mine. I can't say enough about the new feature that allows the software to know what type of blade that is installed. I can't tell you how many times I forgot to change to auto blade and messed up my cuts. So far it's working perfectly! It's faster and a bit quieter for sure.

Had an original Cameo and loved it. So many new features since then. Loving the wireless capability.

I was afraid to use it, but now I design and cut it easily. The program is very easy for the beginner.

Love the cameo 4, I have used the cameo 2 and 3 along with a cricut orginal expression. I use All my machines with SCAL (sure cuts a lot). I use cardstock of all kinds for my online business of dies cuts and have 3 machines running at once. The best thing about the cameo 4 is speed it’s defiantly faster even compared to the 3. Also I usually have to “multi-cut” and do not have to with this machine.... cuts through perfect first time. unloading paper and loading is also Quicker and smooth. The digital screen is gone completely it just has the arrows and load/unload buttons but I do miss the ”Repeat job” option the cameo 3 had but not a big deal. Also when opening the lid of the machine it’s NOT a cover it slides up and under so be careful as I almost broke mine off not realizing how it slides back and out of the way. The auto blade is also a bit deferent it reads from right to left and the cameo 3 is from left to right meaning 10-0 and 0-10.

Good price and fast shipping. Sillouette is a little harder to learn to use than the cricut was but the cameo 4 for the price is a much better deal than the cricut Maker. The cameo 4 can do everything the maker can do and it has the added bonus of being able to cut without a mat which is why we made the switch. If your deciding between the two go with the money saving option if the cameo 4 and you can spend the savings on accessories.
