First time trying squared needles
Really enjoy knitting with these. They are extremely light and because it's square, my stitches stayed put. I usually have a problem with the early rows slipping off. Recommended.

Quality needles
Have always loved addi turbos. These are nice—a little more to grip the yarn, but smooth joins and good points. Will buy again!

Stitches slide well
I cast on 144 stitches to make a sockhead slouch hat. I used 100% superwash wool (Malabrigo sock). The stitches slide easily along the cable and the needle tips. No problems with the joins. The laser cutting on the tips is unusual in how it looks. The tips are not the pointiest... Chiaogoo needles are pointier. I knit continental and did not have any problems with splitting or anything with this combination of needle and yarn. I would like to see these tips as an interchangeable set of needles. As far as the hand feel, they are comfortable. I have small hands. Two years ago, I had surgery for severe ulnar nerve compression in my dominant hand. My ulnar nerve was rerouted, and I had a medial epicondylectomy of the ulna. I can easily hold these size 1 16" needles without hand cramping. The cable is flexible and doesn't have any memory from its storage. The disclaimer on the packaging is funny - "untrained people" might get hurt using them !
