Plastic glass like type of feel

It's thick plastic glass feel to it. The lids go on easy to click shut. The sizes are small more so for a lunch box/tote to eliminate plastic Tupperware. It is oven microwave n dishwasher safe. The largest rectangle looks like it can hold 2-3 slices of pizza or one slice of deep dish. The largest circle can hold a salad or fruit salad but not a whole bag of grapes. And the largest square is mashed potatoes leftovers. Hope that helps. Each size stack nicely into the other but only one lid snaps on and it's for the largest container. Pic of example.

Great glassware!!!

I bought this set about a month ago mainly to have a variety of sizes to to be able to take with me to work. I also use these for food storage/prep. I’ve waited this long to write a review in order to fully give everything a good try. These containers ARE leakproof! When I put them in my lunch bag I have to put them in sideways and when I get to work there’s no food leakage. Heating food in them is no problem and they are very pretty as well. The different sizes really help because you can put many in the fridge without taking up too much real estate lol. Also, these are strong. Everyday I do the same thing: heat my food up, clip the sides shut and carry it to my desk. I LOVE my new Bayco set and highly recommend it! If you’re ready to ditch the plastic, this set is fantastic!

3 shapes and 3 sizes

I just moved into my new apartment and I needed tubberware I wanted glass instead of plastic. These are perfect size for small left overs each shape comes with three sizes, small medium and large. The shapes include square, circle and rectangle each container comes with its own lid. My only complaints would be they could be a little bigger and more colors like pink. Other than that I’ve been able to store a little bit of everything on mines. I’ve even put fresh strawberries in one.

Awesome Containers

So happy I purchased these glass bottom/plastic top containers. I like the versatility of the product; microwave safe glass container, plastic snap-on top with very secure leak-proof fit. Tops are not microwave safe as they can alter the fit and shape, however, I have put them in microwave and nothing has altered them so far. Also, I prefer the plastic tops to glass because the plastic is lighter. I put these in my lunch bags and they have never leaked. Great sizes for the smallest of items to a nice medium sized food container. Works well.

Perfect for portion control!

As lots of people are doing these days, I'm also minimizing the use of plastic. I also purchased an Instant Pot for meal planning. Awesome combo here! 👍 I'm able to cook a large batch of whatever is striking my fancy, freeze portions and pop them into the oven during the work week. Win-win as far as I'm concerned. First time I used these in the oven, I placed it on top of a cookie sheet in case of mishaps but the cookie sheet proved absolutely unnecessary. I'll be getting a second set as soon as I can afford it! 😝 Christmas is around the corner and I have a grandchild I'm spoiling! Ha! 😂🤣😂

Very well packaged, arrived safe and sound

Like most people I bought these so I could stop using plastic. The set is very well made, includes three shapes: round, rectangular and square. Each shape has three sizes which fit nested for easy storing (without the lids). With the lids, the containers don't nest. I stored them nested and put the lids in a separate bin. Didn't take up much room at all. I've used these to store food in the fridge then put it straight into the oven. They clean up well and I haven't had any break. I don't have a dishwasher so i hand wash both containers and lids without a problem. Overall, these are a good eco friendly alternative to buying more plastic.

The Storage I Didn’t Know I Needed

I ordered these while looking for meal prep containers. When I read that they were glass, I was immediately drawn to them because I’ve been working on minimizing my waste. I saw that this had different sizes and shapes and was a little hesitant because I wasn’t sure how it’d go for meal prep. However, as soon as they came in, I was IN LOVE. These are so convenient and so nice. The quality is amazing and they truly are leak proof. I use the larger ones to store apple slices/ fruit through out the week while I bring just a few for snacks at work. I use the medium ones for leftovers/misc. and I use the small ones for easy meals. One of the benefits of them being glass is that it’s microwaveable!! I can just pop the lid off and throw my food in the microwave without worrying about plastic melting, BPA, having to transfer it to a plate, etc. Im starting to realize that maybe I am an adult because I’m raving about glass food ware containers, but hey, they’re worth raving about!

Most durable and best containers I have ever bought

This is an amazing set of containers. U can store food with no air getting in. You can also put them in the microwave to warm up the items. I would not reccomend putting the lid in there but trays my opinion. Awesome product I will pass this on to my friends and family. 100% recommended.

Recommended this product to my friends and family. ####### Preciously While it looks good , the edges breaks so easily. After cleaning stacked it over storage. When it’s time to use it saw most of the edges were broken.

Great, versatile storage & travel food containers!

This set of variably-sized food storage and travel containers is one HECK of a great buy! Highly versatile, and with the added benefit of being oven-usable and microwave-warmable without risk of breakage of the heat-resistant glass containers (of course you have to remove the silicon-sealing lids, though). Great price for a very handy set of food storage containers...my wife loves them! My above initial review reflected my (and my wife's) opinions of this product back in March, after almost three months of frequent usage after she got them as a Christmas present. The following June 2020 addendum is being submitted to reaffirm that after an additional two-plus months of regular usage of these containers primarily for refrigerated food storage, brown-bag lunch containers, and occasionally to reheat foods in both conventional and microwave ovens (MINUS their lids, of course), these tempered glass food containers are still performing flawlessly! I just don't understand those reviews from people who complain about pieces of the glass containers chipping off the rims and of noticing the silicone seals falling off the lids, because none of that has happened with even a single one of the containers in my set, despite our frequent usage. Sure, if you use a GLASS food container like a frizbee(sp?) inside a porcelain sink or when bouncing it against other hard surfaces like a billiard ball, yes, you're probably going to get glass chipping! Likewise, if you completely IGNORE the instructions that came with the product WARNING you NOT to bake the plastic lids and their silicone seals in an oven...or wash them in scalding hot automatic dishwashers, then, yep, you're probably going to experience some warping and/or separation issues with the lid components! Short of clear abuse, however, I think you'll find these sealed storage containers to be a really reliable and very versatile product that worthy of a five-star rating, especially considering their very reasonable price.
