I have a GEL battery, cost 178.00 brand new. It has been dead for 3 years. Just couldn't stand the thought of throwing it away. I used that battery for everything when traveling,,,,,, run into someone who needs a boost... Just take the battery over to their vehicle and it works fine. Need some lite for you camp. Just hook up the battery..... and on and on. Well it I left it connected and it drained a few times and it pretty much died. Fast forward 3 years, it took 3 days and 3 "Repair" cycles. The battery is back. I have a truck that regularly drains and sulfates its batteries. Repair 3 time and this last battery came back to life. It really does work. Oh and it charges up dead batteries too.... :)

Not a review yet just info. The Genius 5 has a 1 star review because the author thought this new series was fake as it was not showing up on the NOCO website. Took me seconds on the website via their chat box to confirm that these new black genius chargers are in fact genuine NOCO chargers. They are the newest chargers and officially haven't been released yet but a few re-sellers got them early to sell. Just a heads up.

Genius10 10 amp charger. Works great with my AGM deep cycle batteries. That last 10% of charge blinking green takes a long, long time before going solid green at 100%, but that's how AGMs like to be topped off...low and slow. These newer Genius chargers (the all-black 1, 2, 5 and 10 models) have been improved for lithium phosphate battery charging by increasing the charging voltage in Lithium Mode from 14.2v in the previous versions, to 14.6v in these newest versions. This allows for better charging to full capacity for these types of Lithium batteries.

Installed directly to my truck, split with a noco waterproof socket and inline switches to allow me to warm my block heater, charge my batteries when my truck sits, or both according to my needs. Worked great!

After a period of time a green light comes on solid indicating the battery is fully charged, the battery seems charged. Apparently a very new product, initially it couldn't be registered since the manufacturer hadn't updated their support site, it's been updated. Update: my son's 2015 prius 12v agm battery was completely dead, this charger "repaired" and fully charged it. It took 20 hours but better that than the price of a new battery.

This thing is awesome! We got a new camper and had not yet installed our 50-amp hookup, so we didn’t have full power, just the 12-volt stuff. But we couldn’t wait to stay in our new camper. All we had at our disposal was one, 20 amp electrical outlet and extension cord. To top it off, the dealer had left some lights on inside the camper and didn’t shut the 12-volt system off, so the battery was dead-dead. We ran the extension cord and hooked up this charger to the battery. It was strong enough that we could run the furnace, water pump, and all of the LED lights that we needed inside. And by morning the battery was almost fully charged! We’ve stayed in it a total of 4 nights now, with this being our main power source for all of our 12-volt needs. I’m gonna buy a second set of clamps just so I can hard-wire my camper battery and still have a set of clamps to hook up my daughters car when she leaves her dome light on (about once a month) 🙄.

I use this battery charger for my shore power method of charging my AGM battery in my camper van. Favorite feature: it returns to the last used power settings when powered back on

I bought this product because I leave home in the winter for a few months. When I return my second car battery was always dead. This product will quick charge the battery and after it is charged will maintain it with a trickle charge automatically with no intervention on my part. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I tried it out for several days before I left for the winter. It worked perfectly for those few days. if I have any problems when I return I will update my review but so far it has worked just the way I want it to work. I returned after two months and had no problems with my 2014 Toyota Corolla starting. It worked very well for me.

I have recovered 2 batteries so far and it is working on a 3rd battery even though i have only had it for less then a week. I fixed a completely dead jump start battery pack for a friend and i repaired the sulfated agm battery for my car which was hard to charge and only reached a maximum of 11.8 volts. Now it is up to 13 volts and my solar panel will be able to maintain the voltage since it seems easier to charge completely. If you have a battery that you can't get proper voltage out of it from charging but it does not have a dead cell, i would highly recommend this. Replacing my agm battery would have cost over $150 so it already payed for itself after owning it for a couple days. I considered a Optima but thought the build quality was better on the Noco so i ordered the Genius10 with the latest technology. I have changed clamps in the past on devices like this but this has very nice clamps that i don't need to touch. It would be nice if it had a volt meter built in but i just use my Solar battery tester.

With two kids, there are decent odds that interior lights will be left on in my car. If you drive every day or nearly so, the car battery will ride that out okay but with the COVID-19 situation, I go days without driving my car. That's happened twice and resulted in a battery that after extended idling was still just barely able to start the car. My Solar BA-7 battery tester basically said "no dice". The battery is about 30 months old and a high-end Optima spiral AGM unit so I decided to give the NOCO unit a try. The unit arrived very well packaged and appears very solid and well built (rigid case, high quality connectors with attached dust seals, etc.). I quickly read through the manual (*very* small type), hooked up the unit, set the mode and away it went. Like I said, the battery was way down on charge so it took several hours but it charged all the way up and the battery tester now says 660 CCA (vs. 720 when new). I haven't tried the "12V Repair" mode, which might help but that's good enough for now. My only caveat is that I've only had it for about 7 hours, but it looks like a solidly made unit.
