this set is stainless steel - not aluminum - the reason I state this is because I double checked to make sure. (Aluminum is not advisable for baking/cooking.) this little set is not 5-star quality, but, they are better than nothing for a start for someone just going out on their own, which is the reason I bought these for my grandson. If you don't burn the food while cooking, or drop them they will last a bit until you can upgrade. If something does happen to stick on the bottom of them, soaking overnight is required. My grandmotherly advise is-- - there are other settings on stove burners besides High, and - more importantly you can't just turn on the burner and then go watch a few more innings, or quarters of a game. just saying ...
You cannot beat the price (I paid under $20 for this set) for a stainless steel set with lids. I knew these would be cheap and had absolutely no expectations as to their longevity, finish, weight, etc., but I have just moved and needed a starter set (and I do love the stainless steel cookware!) to get me going. I would like to note that the frying pan is on the smaller side, but for me alone the size is just fine. The fried food does stick despite using lots of butter (seems like the cooking spray does better but if you are on a keto/low carb/Atkins diet, etc, you do want lots of fat, so you would be using butter to fry in), but I simply clean the food of with a Dobie sponge after soaking for a few minutes and the food comes off. These pots and pans also wash up in the dishwasher very nicely (I do scrub the burned food off from the frying pan prior to placing in the dishwasher, as it just does not seem that the burned food would come off in the dishwasher by itself) without losing their luster so far, and I have placed them in the dishwasher quite a few times already. There is just a little bit of staining on the outside bottoms of the pans from the stove burners (I have the coil type electric burners on my stove), but really, really minor. The lids have the vent holes, are sturdy and fit the respective pots and pans great. The handles do not get hot while the food is cooking, which is great for me, since I have had cookware in the past where the handles (non-metal) would absorb too much heat. I did use the Dutch oven to boil something on really high heat and the handles remained cool to the touch. Overall, a great set for me and the light to moderate cooking I do, and I would not hesitate to purchase these again, especially at the price I paid originally.
I am not normally a "review guy", but I cannot get over how awesome this set is. What particularly did it for me is how insanely easy to clean it is, being a disorganized male I find myself often with tons of dry left overs but for this set it is just a quick soak and Volia! Cannot say the same for my cheap whatever-Mart set.
Due to health issues, I was looking for a very light weight set of cookware, and this set is perfect. The glass lids are the only things that add weight to the pots. Nice long handles, easy to clean and extremely light weight. Can't beat the price either.
Love my new Sunbeam pots and pans. The glass lids make it easy to see how the cooking is going and the little vent hole in the lid makes it easy for steam to release so there is no boil over.
Very light weight. Nice size combination set. I was looking for stainless steel pots and pans to just for quick use for replacement of my old pans with teflon coating. Cast iron was too heavy and too much work to take care so I went to look for some stainless steel sets. These are nicely priced and very easy to wash. Looks like it will last longer than my old teflon pot and pans.
I loved the look on these pots, I used them to decorate my kitchen wall and to have extra pots. They are good for that, decoration. The handles and tip of the tops get super hot so I hardly ever use them for cooking. I use them to boil eggs or to make large amounts of tea or herbal infusions. Not good for frying, unless you use large amounts of oil. I got what I payed for. Very very cute pots but must be extra careful when handling them when on heat.
Pleasantly surprised by this product! It isn't huge, so don't expect to cook for a family of four with it. But, if you're just cooking for 1-2 people it's perfect. Great quality, especially for the price. Just be sure to use ovenmits when cooking incase the handles get too hot.
I only use these pots for my pot hanger so I can't review on the use. But for my use of them they are great. There very shiny and they look great hanging up on my pot user.

Good for decoration mostly or with a lot of caution boiling water and infusions.

Mom was impressed with its appearance! Light weight and durable so far. This is not an expensive set, but does the job and looks great!
