Unit tested well.
I tested this unit in the house and it seemed to work well. It went from 74F to 32F in about 30 minutes and it held within 3 degrees of 32F over 24 hours. Still need to test it using a good deep cycle battery but I expect it will do just fine. Fit and finish is very good. Controls are easy to adjust. It could be a little difficult to make changes if the unit is not elevated off the ground. It runs pretty quietly. The interior light works well in low light conditions. Will be using on a 10 day camping trip in 4 weeks. Will review again at the end of the trip.

Great little fridge.
This thing cools quickly, and does the job perfectly. I am extremely impressed by it. I plugged it in, set it to 1C, and within 15 mins it was there. After filling it about half way, it cooled it back down very nicely. Drinks do very well in here, as do meats and stuff. Not impressed with salads and greens being placed in it. But... There is no humidity control, so that's the reason. Don't expect a product to do anything it isn't designed to do.

Check the dimensions
It’s a fantastic freezer, except the dimensions list it as 19” high - It is 21” high which makes it just a bit too high to fit in out motorhome compartment. The company gave me a $25 credit for the trouble.

Great fridge, bad instructions.
Works great, but make sure your vent slots are unobstructed, or the fridge will not work. Do yourself a favor and read the instructions...save yourself some headaches. I didn’t know that obstructing the vents would defeat the fridge, but figured it out later, after the food was spoiled. Unfortunately, the instructions read like jibberish. Only ½ page of the 4 page document, 1/8th of the data, provides essential information...7/8ths of the document gives idiotic advice like, ‘don’t use underwater’ and ‘don’t put in the dishwasher,’ when clearly there is no home dishwasher that could possibly accommodate the fridge because of its size. If the manufacturers would hire an ad agency to market these things, or at least a person fluent in English, the instructions would have been clear...Chinese does not translate into English easily nor well, because the way both peoples think is fundamentally different. Asians think conceptually, whereas English speakers think linearly...that’s why the instructions read like jibberish and are generally incomprehensible...you have to ‘read between the lines.’ I’ve seen signs on motels owned by Chinese families that tout, ‘We specialize in happy’...clearly not a native English speaker. But back to the point; this is essentially a DC fridge with an inverter to use as an AC fridge. The cord into the inverter has a nasty way of disengaging itself, so secure it with electrical tape or a cord clamp. Both DC and AC cords (with inverter) are included. This thing is huge, seeming to be about 2’ X 2’ X 3’, so it’ll fit into a smaller SUV, but you won’t be able to open it inside your vehicle. Loaded with food, it’s too heavy to move about easily...but it holds a lot. For a tailgate party, it would be ideal. Spring loaded carrying handles snap back down into position, and the two stainless toggle clamps keep it securely closed. All in all, a great little top loading fridge for traveling with unclear, yet hilarious instructions.

Home run. Great buy. Great product
I was hesitant in buying any of these small “portable” coolers for fear of junk. All of them are almost identical, all are made in China , all have same or similar features. Confusing. I took a shot on this one, Costway. This 63 quart fridge is not something I’d bring on the road in my truck. It’s large, dimentionally and weight is about 60lbs. Not easy for one person especially if it’s filled. I’m using it for a 100% Off Grid cabin where it will just sit and keep things cold. Once I got it to the cabin/ excellent! 90 degree day, cooled to 32F in about two hours. I’m running it Off my 1000 amp hour battery bank fed by solar. Impressive LOW consumption of electricity. Peak 5 amp draw on start up for two hours to reach set temp. Once there it would run 20 minutes at 4 amps, off for ten minutes, run another 20 etc. that’s 40 min of run time per hour at 4 amps. I have LED lights that use more electricity. Impressive. Quiet as hell. Small cabin and no background noise and the fridge was not intrusive at all. The wind outside made more noise. Sorry, no decibel readings but it’s super quiet. I was surprised at capacity. 30+ beer bottles in main compartment, food for two days in basket on smaller side. Could easily fit more. My plan is to build this into a cabinet so it’s out of the way but it could easily stay out in the open on its own. I read the insulation was inadequate. Incorrect. There’s enough insulation to keep things at temp. At lowest setting it held temp within two degrees for twenty plus minutes with a full fridge. People complaining about a two degree fluctuation are absurd. I’d bet their home fridge swings more than that. That said, once it’s built into a cabinet I’d expect better efficiency due to increased insulation. The unit puts out a very low level of heat, all fridges do. It also needs air circulation or it can’t cool so don’t box it in without air flow. Ultimately, i was reluctant to drop the money on it but I’m more than impressed. Presently, at time if writing this I’ve only had the chance to use it for four days straight in 90 degree weather in a cabin so can’t speak to longevity- but if it dies I’ll fix and continue onward if company doesn’t stand behind their product. Also, to all the “my fridge arrived damaged” claims, my fridge arrived in perfect condition. Really impressed, really happy I bought it and I’ll let you know if that changes. UPDATE AUGUST 2019 - Had a minor glitch with the fridge. Something odd was happening. It would work all weekend and then when I left and returned a week later it was OFF. I was fortunate that I hadn't left any food in there, just beer. It seemed as though the power cord was loose in the fridge so I thought it was either the cord was bad or the plug panel on the fridge was loose inside the fridge. Contacted the company and they were great. Fast response, helpful and they sent out a new power cord asap. In the meantime I took the panel off of the fridge (six screws) and pulled the wiring out and sure enough, there was a loose connection on the panel. Someone at the factory simply hadn't pushed the wire onto the connection all the way. Easy fix, closed the panel up and good to go for the past few months. Love the fridge. I keep it at about 40F (5C) when I am away and turn it down to zero or negative numbers when I am around so the beer is super cold. It will freeze water if you turn it down below freezing so watch out. I am going to buy another smaller fridge for the back of my truck. I really like this fridge!

Quiet and keeps food cold.
Used this on a 4000 mile, 10 day road trip, plugged into our van's cigarette lighter. Super quiet, kept the food cold. Temperature control isn't labeled as to units/levels on the front of the fridge, so be aware of that when you plug it in. Had enough room to keep a family of 6 stocked for a day and a half of eating on the road.

Best portable fridge/freezer I've ever owned!
Okay, I only just got this yesterday, TWO DAYS earlier than the shipping message said it would get here! I love it when that happens!!! So given that I just got it, I wanted to say this is awesome! Took it out of the packing, plugged it in, and set it to freezer mode and it came right on and started bringing the temp right down!!! It's supper quiet, so much so that I had to get down near the vents to be able to here it purring!!! This is NOT going to be a problem in the camper at all!!! I'll update this more after I've had a chance to play with it some more, but I'm already loving it so much!!! 8/15/2019 @ 1640EDT Update! I was waiting to start seriously using this until I got the rest of my electrical system built but wanted to test this a bit more. So I plugged it into one of the 12dc sockets on my dash and let it run of my starting battery. It got down to below feezing quickly and six hours later had frozen the gallon of water I'd left in there. Now it's been several days running off the 12 battery that starts my car and has kept that gallon frozen. Left it sitting overnight and into the next day without starting my rig, and it stayed on the whole time and my rig continues to start. It makes so little noise when it's running that I have to actually listen to see if it's on. So yeah, I totally love this fridge!!!

Best buy for the price
Did a bunch of research on costway products. Decided on the 63qt. Plugged it in at readout said 90 deg. Set it to 30 and it took under 20 min to get down to 30 deg. Super impressed. Compressor motor not very loud at all. More like a white noise.

Sweet, constant COLD!
WE LOVE THIS REFRIDGERATOR!! I bought this chest fridge to replace the 3-way out if our truck camper. So far, it has been in the camper, my 'power' trailer (behind the camper) and the horse trailer. I have a 3 deep cell battery system (375ah total) and 375 watts of solar. This little fridge has been running off the system since I received it while travelling. I have only had to repower my batteries twice in more than a month and that was only because the trailer is parked where it only gets partial sun right now. When parked at a campground, I just plug it into land power and let the solar recharge for the road. Last trip was 4 days with no land power. Temperature stays constant and actually kept several pkgs of frozen meat hard for 3+ days while on the road. We have it set at 3 and it sticks pretty close all the time. I definitely recommend this fridge and hope everyone gets one as great as ours.
