Does exactly what we hoped it would

My wife has always liked to add crushed ice to her drinks, and for years she would just pound the ice with a mallet inside a bag. While that approach worked it was a bit messy, and the texture of the ice that resulted from it was always inconsistent. So, I decided to search for an electric ice crusher here on Amazon and ultimately chose this one. When it arrived it was obvious that it was a rugged, well-built device. Once my wife mastered the proper process to use it she has found the consistency of the ice texture to be excellent, and she is really satisfied with this product. As such, we give this product Two Thumbs Up. Note one final thing though, namely that we found the manual to be a bit lacking in detail so we were directed by the company to a "how to" video that was really helpful. The video link is right below the picture of the ice crusher as the last image shown.

Does the job!

I purchased this machine to use at my school for a fundraiser. I was concerned that it might not be able to keep up with the demand, but it worked as fast as I could load the ice! Keep in mind that it can only contain so much ice at a time, so if you’re busy you’ll be constantly refilling it - which is OK for me because I didn’t want to spend the extra money for the convenience. If that’s an issue for you, consider buying two! You could get two of these machines for the price of one of the larger ones.

Okay for TMJ problem people.

I like this model much better. I had purchased the same type except the ice output was very close to the bowl. This time I purchased a different brand and too there’s more room from the output to the bowl. That type of bowl that came with it makes the ice cubes start melting fast. I find plastic works much better. This company included more information than I received from the other company. I have TMJ and loving ice as I do, shaved is what I have to have. I am pleased.

Good unit only lacks replaceable blades, may have looked for a different unit if I had noticed before I ordered.
