Netgear Nighthawk

Netgear nighthawk cable modem worked great. Easy set up. Make sure to use the password on the modem to access it. I think a few of the reviews listed prior to my purchase may have been due to not being able to set it up correctly. I've had it over a month with no issues. Works great. Same internet speed, but a way better modem then I had before. The difference shows. Night and day difference. Didnt get paid to review or write this.

Awesome modem Wi-Fi router

Replaced my old Netgear Wi-Fi router/modem. This thing is a huge improvement. Wi-Fi range is stronger(i have about 15 devices connected). Speed is a huge improvement. I went to 2.8mps on my cell to 76mps. Definitely reccomend this Netgear model.

Great Value

Nothing less then the new Wifi modem. Why buy a new device when you can find the refurbished cheaper price and same performance

Easy to set up. Xfinity installer had the modem approved very quickly.

Modem works great most of the time. Today I while working on the computer, wireless signal was lost. Looked at my phone and had ! next to WiFi icon, meaning Internet may not be available. Strange thing is Echo Dot played music through all the problems. Out of the box the modem works great. I live in a small condo and get great signals in each room. Testing signal on my Fire TV devices I am getting close to 170-190 Mbps each test. I would definitely buy this again instead of renting the modem from Comcast/Xfinity. I haven't contacted customer support yet for this modem. Once you click on a star you can't take it off.

Easy to set up and more up to date than my old network system

The refurb unit came nicely packaged and contained all the needed supplies to set up...modem/router, ac adapter, rj45 cable and instructions. Used the quick set up instructions and it was very quick to install and configure. The online app is easy to understand and use, allowing you to create your own network name and passwords, including a guest network. Connecting to Spectrum took a little longer but was able to do it online through the Netgear app. I started the set up, Spectrum found the modem right away, and I saved the new router to my Spectrum account. It seemed like the config got stuck there so I went to breakfast and when I came back it was working. My wifi network speed tests are now much faster and all of my devices, network extenders, smart tv, cell phones, and guitar amp connected without any problems. Very happy with this set up and love that I am saving an electrical outlet by having the modem and router all-in-one, takes up less space, looks slick. Two thumbs up!

Very Good Initial Quality

The installation could've been very easy and simple. The drawback was there appeared a screen from NETGEAR at the beginning that did not coincide with anything in its instructions. This screen prompted for ADMIN and PASSWORD, seemingly at odds with what is the default on the device. I had to re-install to get things to work properly. Aside from the above hitch, it otherwise would've been a breeze and quick to install. Connection with COMCAST was simple, too. It is operating very well. It appears to be better than the old NETGEAR combo that it replaced. WiFi signal seems to be faster and improved.

Netgear C7000v2 AC 1900 WiFi cable modem/router. (Refurb)Works and looks new

Easy install,setup and activate with Spectrum Cable internet. Took about 5 minutes. I will put my Arris SB-6183 and TP-Link AC 1750 on the shelf and save for backup. 5 TV's with ROKU's , 3 windows laptop's , 3 windows desktops, 1 Mac mini and a Macbook air plus 2 smart phones all living happy on my network.

Great alternative to "renting" from the cable company

After years of spending way too much money "renting" a mediocre router and modem (during which time I could have used that money to buy several), I finally bought this instead. We don't have cable, and use wifi to stream through Fire Sticks and onto tablets. We've had this for a while now and have had no problems with it. I wish we'd bought it much earlier.
