Works Great

Really good value and seems to give reliable readings. Has a good little instructional pamphlet and packets you can use to make sure it's calibrated but it seems to be good right out of the box and has a sturdy plastic case to keep it in.

Just as good as name brand.

I have been using these for a week now and they are very accurate and fast. A huge savings over name brand meters like Bluelab but less durable. If you are safe with you tools its a great buy. I will never buy anything else again. I tested it against calibrated meters when I first got it and it was dead on so I saved the calibration solution. If you grow any plant hydroponically, you need these meters. Find ppm and pH guides for the plant you specialize in and adjust accordingly to maximize growth.

Works great for the money.

Works for what I need it for. Not 1000% accurate, but it’s very very close. I need my water around 7.0 and it will read between 6.8 to 7.2 That’s why I have like 3 or these around. Close enough. If you want dead accurate..you’ll pay 4-6x more for a higher end unit.

spot on out of box

I didn't have to calibrate as mine came just perfect it seems out of box. Tested using known water amounts for both PH and TDS. I have been using it for about a month now on aquarium water and so far both have been working with no issues. PH is always around 7.1 to 7.25 which is where it was using API test kit or test strips. TDS slowly goes up over the course of a week until water change, then back down slightly and repeat. If yours comes calibrated or you can get it calibrated using the power (if it comes with meters, read sometimes it is missing) then these are definitely worth the money.

Worth it if you are in to ALKALINE

Pro: light weight, protective case, easy to use, provided with 2 calibrating solution. I bought it because i recently installed an Alkaline water filtration system. It is good to have because you will be checking the water PH level from time to time. DONT BUY the strips from Walmart... those do not work. CON: only provided with 2 packet of calibrating solution Do i recommend? YES I DO quality + price good deal.

Very easy to use

This was so much easier to use than those little paper testers! I got a good reading for my hot tub, verified it with my paper testers, and my neighbors "fancy" tester. It worked great! I didn't realize I had to set it up first. It was easy, and makes sense as to why. Just know you can't open the package and start testing things right away.

Consider this to test the ph level of alkaline water

I want to control my acid intake and balance it with Alkaline water. This device makes it easier to test the ph level of liquid. This is especially useful to test to see if it’s time to change my Alkaline water filter. According to this device, my Alkaline water pitcher is still at 9.81 PH. Once it drops to near 7, it is time to change the filter. This device is so much easier than using the litmus paper test.
