Very good microscope for cell observation!

This is an awesome microscope. Pros Phone adapter is really helpful, allows multiple people to gather around to see what is on the slide, makes taking pictures and videos much easier. I have to take my phone's case off for it to fit, but it doesn't damage the uncased phone. The phone can also adjust to the light level faster than your eye, helping you see more details. There is no fine adjustment knob, but the large one is totally sufficient. The mechanism for moving the slide around is really good, I much prefer it to stage clips, though your sample has to be on the part of the slide closer to the arm of the microscope or you might not be able to move it directly under the objective lens. Having two lights is awesome, allowing you to see reflected light and light coming through the sample. Cons My only complaint about this microscope, is with the highest power objective lens. When switching to this lens, the lens itself wipes your sample off the slide, getting the lens dirty too. It usually doesn't focus unless the stage is that close. If you do manage to focus on your sample with the high power lens, the sample looks dim to the viewer. But you can still see awesome things in it, all considered. The pictures are; spinach guard cell (40x lens), bee wing (10x), the bee's knees :) (4x) and a gnat wing (4x with top light).

This is a great microscope.

We use this in our homeschool and it has been great. I love that you can use your phone as a screen so that more than one child can "see" at once. We use this all the time! For education and just for fun!

Perfect for my daughter’s 10th birthday- she especially loved the phone holder that allowed her to capture pictures of the slides. Easy enough for her to use, and great quality!

Impressive Microscope for the price.

I am a retired medical laboratory technologist. I bought this for my granddaughter. My expectations were guarded for a microscope at this price point. I am delighted, its an impressive little microscope. Of course its nothing like I worked with in my career but does give really great images for the price. Focus is smooth and precise, the moving ruler is very smooth too. The light is a little dim for the highest magnification but workable. Recommended.

Increase there want for knowledge

It’s a great microscope. Kids get enthusiastic and want to go out and find things to scope. All you have to do is take it out of the box. There’s no price on education.
