Did the Job (2013 Ford Fusion)

Worked perfectly to replace the broken one. Some advice: Getting the hood released without the handle - this takes two people. While the person inside the car under the dash pulls on the cable (with a fair amount of force) the other person pushes down on the both front corners of the hood (you wont reach the corners but just spread your arms and give it a brief firm push). This should release the hood to the safety catch so we could then open it. Installation - at least on this car, there are two latches under the hood so the cable that runs from this handle under the dash goes into a "splitter" under the hood near the front corner. Open the splitter and unhhook the primary cable from under the dash. The slack this provides makes it very easy to hook the other end into the new handle when installing. After everything inside is set, just rehook the other end into the mechanism inside the splitter. Lubrication - the original handle broke for a reason and based on how we got the hood to open I suspect it was a sticky latch mechanism (or 2). So to prevent recurrence (or immediate breakage of the new handle) we used a spray silicone lubricant on the mechanisms. All good since - still operating nicely a couple months later.

Easy after you get hood to open

Handle was a perfect fit. The hard part was getting the stuck hood open on my 2013 Ford Fusion which caused the release to break. Took me 2 hrs to pop 2 latches through front grill even with help from YouTube video. Little tricky getting the cable end back in new release but everything works as it should after lubricating hood latch mechanisms. Saved hundreds from taking to dealership

Easy breezy for 2015 Fusion

Easy to install with no instructions, and I'm not a handyman. Fit 2015 ford fusion perfectly. Actual handle is longer than original but still fits.
