Need to Get that Vintage Treadle Going!

This little bundle has everything that you need to replace the leather treadle belt on your vintage sewing machine and be on Your way! Tools to replace the leather treadle belt on your vintage machine plus new needles and bobbins. This bundle and a little oil had this 100 year old girl up and running in no time. (As an aside: Couldnʻt get the machine to stitch so, after watching a YouTube found that the needle is seated sideways versus with the eye threaded from the front as most of our modern machines.) Love that the kit came with an awl to punch a hole in the leather and a second leather belt for back up. Great value!

My Treadle Sewing Machine Lives Again!

I am so pleased with this purchase! We have a treadle sewing machine that needed a new belt so I can use it again. This set of 2 was perfect-the first one I messed up and cut too short so the extra belt was definitely needed. It is a strong leather and went right on the wheel. The scissors included are strong enough to cut leather and all the little extra pieces are appreciated as well. My machine is working again and I recommend this pack up to anyone needing to get their treadle machine back in use.

Works for Singer 66

The belt works for my 1906 Singer 66 treadle machine. It was easy to install, the directions in the listing are pretty clear. The bobbins aren't right for my machine, which takes a drop in 66 type bobbin, but I didn't take off any stars for that, because I really just bought this for the belts and awl. The belts were a good price and I consider the rest as just extras.

Great Buy for The Price

I purchased this product for an antique Singer for my grandmother. I’m not quite sure how the belt would’ve worked, since I got the wrong one entirely, but everything with it was great. Packaged in a ziploc type bag, but better packaging wasn’t really necessary. It’s great for the price with all it comes with too.

Honestly, I would have been happy with just the two belts. The needles and thread snips were a nice bundle. Not sure how many treadle machines use class 15 bobbins but whatever.
