Conveniently Hear Old Cassettes Again

This is essentially a "Walkman" type cassette player with a USB port. It comes with the software. However, I downloaded it from the Audacity website to be sure to get the latest edition. If someone is a real audiophile they may not be completely satisfied. But cassettes were never perfect anyway, and I'm happy as long as I can hear what I like. It's very simple to use and does exactly what it's supposed to. It seems to be exactly the same as others going for higher prices. It seems to be a common practice for a Chinese factory to make a product which is then distributed by different companies at different prices and, often, different names. This was the lowest price that I found for this.

Gets the job done.

I had a bunch of cassette tapes that I wanted on my iphone. I was able to covert them all to digital with this device. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. I now have all of those old cassette albums on my iphone! There is on caveat: The audacity software package provided does have a bit of a learning curve, but if you stick with it and reference the manual pretty soon you have enough understanding of the software to get the job done.
