Great product
First of all, I think this product is definitely worth five stars. At first I was worried that this would be a poor quality product in the term of price but it made me very happy when I got it. The suction of its suction cup is very strong and stick to flat surface very firmly. I will give you some advice when you use it. You can add some liquid so that it will suck better. I use a disinfectant spray to do this. Good results! You can also use it in a vertical position if you have good skills. It has 3 sharpening stations, which are completely incomparable to other similar products. It has a groove of tungsten carbide. Tungsten carbide is a very hard metal that can grind off excess metal on your knife. If your knife is very blunt you can use it. But this product also has a ceramic groove. The texture of the ceramic is very delicate. You can use the ceramic slot to grind your precious knife, it won't hurt your knife. I personally like the function of its sharpening scissors. I have several sharpeners but none of them have the function of this grinding scissors. I often need to use scissors in the kitchen so my scissors become very blunt. But now it has become as sharp as ever.

Great for scissors
Every time I look at a scissor sharpener they only use ceramic rods to edge scissors. If you use leather shears or ever kitchen scissors the rods just don;t cut it (pun) This sharpener uses tungsten carbide to put a cutting edge on scissors and it works great. For knives it has a tungsten carbide rough repair tool and then finishes with a ceramic edger. Great tool for the money, NOT an electric sharpener, in my case it is just a one horses rear end power. It does the job.

Great scissor sharpener
I am a craft nerd and also an activity director at a senior living facility. I have a lot of craft scissors. At least 20. Over time they get dull and I am on a tight budget. Tried another brand a few months back. This sharpener far exceeds that one. It suctions strong and I like the control I have to sharpen the blade from end to end. It only took me a few minutes to sharpen the whole lot. Curious to see if anyone comments on the cutting ease at our next craft class.

Great sharpener you only need one hand to use it.
This is a very great product. I only have one arm oh, so it is so difficult to try to sharpen a knife with only one arm.because you cannot hold the knife sharpener down without something and this one works great because it's suction cups to the counter or any smooth hard surface it is fantastic it has saved me from many many accidental cuts from trying to sharpen a knife with an old fashioned sharpener that won't stay still this is wonderful especially for handicapped people.

I was amazed! What a value!
I didn’t want to spend a lot on a knife sharpener, not knowing if my older knives would ever be really sharp again. I did want one I could use on scissors. I ran all my knives through it and was amazed. I can cut bread with a non-serated knife I’d given up on. Even old kitchen shears improved. I put mine on the inside of a cabinet door. The suction quite strong. I’m thrilled with the purchase and the price.

Love this sharpener
This is an amazing little unit that will sharpen about everything you have in your kitchen as far as a knife goes. The most amazing part is the suction cup feature which comes in handy since you don't have to hold the knife sharpener in place. The easy two-step knife sharpening procedure is extremely easy, and what I really love the most is that it will take a dull serrated knife and make it like new again, even you're a little steak knives. The only caution I would give is that after you sharpen your knives be very careful since your knives are razor sharp and will catch you in an instant.

SHARPEL IS THE BEST SHARPENER YOU COULD BUY AT ANY PRICE!!! ‘“YOU WON’T BE SORRY”
Omy gosh, what a shocker. When I got this in the mail I did not think it would do the job. Boy, oh boy was It a surprise. First off the suction on my counter was amassing. I did not think I would get it off and had to twist it a bit to get it loose. I have lots of knives and a ton of scissors and a ton of useless sharpeners. This mini sharpener, sharpened everything I threw at it in a very short time. I was blown away. It took me several hours to sharpen everything in the house but the little sharpener did an outstanding job and it is so small I have lots of places to store it.

beats the heck out of professional type sharpening stones
I can't believe I am saying that a draw type sharpener beats using multiple sharpening stones for making and keeping kitchen knives sharp. My wife cooked a 16 lb pork roast and was having to "work" the Chef Knife to slice. I had just sharpened the knife using 3 stages of sharpening stones. Whipped out this little "draw type" sharpener, wet the suction cup, attached to the edge of the counter, drew the blade 3 times and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I am serious when I say the meat parted like "a hot knife through butter"! I'll probably use the multiple sharpening stones occasionally to keep an edge base, however, for final sharpening, I'll use this draw sharpener every time!

Great knife sharpener, Not good for scissors
The knife sharpener portion works beautifully. However, the scissor sharpener does not. No instructions, video, or guide. My neighbor knows how to sharpen scissors and used his own sharpener to sharpen mine. When I brought this one to him, he laughed and said this was a piece of s**t. I will keep it for my knives but sucks the scissor sharpener does not work.

buy this
Nifty little sharpener. I purchased it to use at my art desk and it brought my teeny, curved trimming scissors back from the brink. I had previously bought Fiskars small sharpener and it is garbage. The Sharpal is terrific.
