Amazing results.

This thing is quite incredible. The belt itself is well made. It runs smoothly, doesn't "Ba-dump" over the seam. Seems sturdy (haven't had it long). The compound I got was a little hard to apply. Just slightly too crumbly, and more of it broke and turned into dust/crumbs than got onto the belt at first. The trick I found was putting just a drop of regular vegetable oil on the block of abrasive (it's wax/oil based, apparently). That softened the surface just enough that the belt could pick some up and get it into the surface. It will put a razor's edge on just about anything - provided you already know how to sharpen that thing first. You do have to get the blade very sharp conventionally first - then hone it to a fare-the-well with this belt and the compound. I did kitchen knives, a plane iron, and a chisel (all sharpened differently, but all honed with this belt on the work-sharp. I got the chisel edge so sharp that it went straight through a leather work glove... so be careful. Excellent. Buy one.

Great belt, great customer service.

I initially received the wrong size belt, I reached out to the email on the instruction sheet rather then returning it, Rob (the owner) responded within hours and promptly sent me the correct sized belt. So, customer service and responsiveness is 5 stars. I ordered this for the worksharp standard model (not the KO model), and I have to say the belt fits and functions perfectly. It takes your knives sharpness to the next level. I used to strop by hand, with this belt I can do a few quick passes and my knives are razor sharp. Highly recommend.

Work sharp polishing belt.

I had ordered 2 of these polishing belts to sharpen my hunting knives and 1 of them fell apart while using them on my work sharp knife sharpener. It came apart right where the leather is fixed together. Otherwise an excellent product to sharpen my knives, holy cow this thing works great. So sharp I can shave my face after getting an edge on my knife! Thanks again leatherbelt man!

Not clear on instructions but finishes nicely.

I would have given a 4.5 because the instructions are a little short on the use of this belt. After a little research, I figured out a good method which seems to do the job. I worked on two knives and am pleased with the results.

Great little belt!

This belt did a remarkable job on two knives I've tried it on. Will use it for all of the knives I sharpen to get a smooth polished edge. It is the exact product I've always needed to finish off a sharpening job to get that honed edge. My knives now cut through things like it was butter!

SHARPER THAN A RAZOR....BE CAREFUL

Works well. Recommend using a non important knife to practice. It's a little different than the regular belts....but once you get the knack of it....be prepared for sharper than razor blades. Only if you are a.pro would I recommend. But for me, it is worth the money.

Razor sharp

This was the missing link with my sharpener! It finishes the sharpening process to a razor sharp edge! Sharpened a friends kitchen knives and they were so used to using dull knives, ended up cutting themselves!

Gotta have it.

Works great with my work sharp

Used ut a few times. Does the trick with my work sharp. I had some questions about how to use this belt properly so I emailed the company. Received apeompy response. Very nice and quick response. Made in USA is always a plus for me.

I’ve always been able to get my knives pretty sharp with the worksharp belts but this thing takes them to another level! Scary sharp!
