Helps with finger dexterity, finder speed, finger chord placement, Chord change-ups, and even soundless strumming patterns practice. Construction: Hard plastic casing. The top plastic slides down to reveal a wooden 6 fret neck. It is strung with 6 mini guitar string with appropriate thickness, yet it is not meant to be tuned-only tightened. Remember, this does not make a sound. Understand that before buying. Why did I get one? Good question. I wanted some work with my chord changeups and scales. That is my downfall. So I thought that it might help me out with that when I go places that one can't be too terribly loud to practice such things such as work, walks, airports, planes, hotels, in front of the television, and even when I am hiking trails. It fit easily in my backpack . It is a strang tool, yet I find some function in it. I get practice establishing muscle memory when I normally wouldn't be on a real guitar and so the little silent practice does have its benefits. It comes with replacement strings and Allen wrench for installing new strings. And it comes with a velvet-like drawstring bag.

Shipped very fast. Great tool to use anywhere to teach cords/finger placement without disturbing those around you.

Portable and very useful to learn finger placement

Great product! Comfortable to use!

Well I accidentally broke it in a matter of minutes after getting it out of the box. So go easy when tightening the strings. It comes with extra strings to replace them but there are no instructions of how to replace them and for the life of me I can't figure it out. ***Update!*** The company was great and sent me a new one free of charge. I went easy on the tightening this time and now I have a great way to practice my chords and condition my fingers. It's also just a nice way to keep your fingers and hands busy. I quit smoking a few months ago and this is nice productive use of my hands.

i read lots of reviews saying this is worthless but not knowing anything about anything i went for it and i find it very helpful practicing my chord shapes and working on practicing moving from one chord to another. I like it for what it is I think it helps especially since i can use it at my desk while on a call etc... I like it and find it useful for me

Perfect for getting your finger tips toughened up & for practicing your chords when you can't take your guitar with you. Great tool for beginners.

Not for sound at all. I don’t even strum it. But it’s perfect for practicing while laying in bed because I’m a lazy blob.

Easy to throw in my backpack. I use this to maintain my flexibility through 5-finger exercises. Not made for strumming. Hex wrench does a good job to maintain tightness to ensure a natural feel.

It's great. Exactly what is needed to practice chords.
