Affordable Way to Secure Keys

This rocks blends in well with the snow outside of our home. We also hide it inside of the snow but it's show here to get an understanding of the size and color. I love that it's lightweight and doesn't draw much attention. As the instructions say, if you're hiding something other than a key, please secure the item in a small plastic bag to prevent possible water damage. Overall, this product is not expensive, very easy to use, and could fool just about anyone as a normal rock!

Seems to be adequate

The rock itself seems very sturdy and it looks very realistic. My concern is that the plastic part on the underneath side which holds the key doesn't seem very secure. It's just sort of nestled into the storage space without a clip of any kind. There is definitely no seal around the edge of the plastic part which touches the ground so I think it could definitely allow water, bugs, etc. to enter. It was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and will likely serve my purpose, but the disguise of the rock is definitely it's only security feature.

It works for what it was designed to do, hide a key

Giftable? I suppose so if it is a Pollyanna with a low cost limit. That said it is a highly usable gadget. It is not unique but it doesn’t have to be. All it has to do is hide a key so you can get it and others aren’t aware it is there. This does the trick. In my garden it does not match the other rocks but so what? You would have to be pretty perceptive to find it. I am very satisfied and happy to support a small business

Perfect for hiding a key

Along with being easy to use for securing an extra house key, the rock blends right in with the other rocks outside our back porch. As our granddaughter frequently forgets her key when she stops by to check on our house whenever we travel, the hidden key within the stone has worked well for us. I highly recommend this rock for anyone looking for a secure & discreet way to hide an extra key for their house.

A rock with a secret...

This really does look like a rock and feel like a rock. The space where the key goes may or may not be super watertight. I put my key in a plastic bag and that should do the trick. It blended in nicely with the other rocks where I placed the key holder. So far I feel as if it is doing its job.

Does the job

This thing looks enough like a real rock (and feels like a real rock) that no one's gonna pick it out as fake just from looking at it. The compartment is big enough to hold at least a couple of keys, if you want, and the plastic insert that holds the keys in place works well enough. Nothing to complain about, especially for the price.

Peace of mind is key!

I wasn't too sure how this item would be. I figured it would be lightweight and fake looking. I was wrong! It's a nice weight and it looks real. It hides nicely. I am very pleased with this product. It goes above and beyond for the price. Buy it...it's well worth the peace of mind!

Great Looking Rock

Very realistic looking rock. It has a good weight to it. I bought it for my sons who both managed to lock themselves out of their respective houses. I’m sure it’ll be a life saver for both of them. No more waiting for someone to rescue them with a spare key.

Perfect Place to Hide a Key

Order was received timely. There is a plastic slide cover on the bottom to hold the key in. It’s probably not the most well crafted device but it’s a rock to hide your key in, doesn’t need to be anything fancy. It is simple and will do the job just fine and for the price there is nothing to complain about.

Always need a spare key somewhere!

As such a forgetful person, I'm guilty not to put any spare key out! Just right before I decided to place this key rock somewhere, I locked myself out of my house in a could raining night! Yes, while this rock with the spare key still inside the house! LOL.
