It works

Works as it should and sounds good. It didn’t work until I found the correct output format in the tv’s settings. The directions mentioned the audio type but don’t take you through the process of setting up your tv, which is understandable, just know you might need to change your “audio output type”. It won’t affect the sound coming from the tv, just what’s sent to the output.

Excellent. Used it for projector, HDMI for video and spilt doubt out to surround system. Awesome. Plugged it in all worked immediate. No loss of lip sync with the optical Cable. Great product !

Works as advertised! We upgraded to a larger tv last year and lost the ability to run left and right analog audio output to our stereo surround system. After listening to my husband complain constantly about how he couldn't hear the tv for the last 7 months at 100% volume, I decided I wasn't going to have it anymore and bought this so I could run the digital to analog... Now we have our sound system all hooked up, and I'm pretty sure he's complaining it's too loud, but I can't hear him! Two problems solved!

Great Little Gadget For External Speakers!!

Just bought a new TV an needed something to hook up my external speakers (which use a mini plug connector) my old TV was bought back when they still made them with headphone jacks, great little gadget, easy to install an all you need is contained for connecting your external speakers only real negative is (and I am not sure if this is a limitation of the gadget or speakers ?) you can’t control the volume frm the TV remote only the speakers BUT I think my old TV also had this limitation it only wasn’t an issue due the the low sound output, the actual sound output using the gadget is excellent just the level of the volume you can’t control! A must have for new LED TV’s when using external speakers!!

DOES contain a complete power block; optical cable is very short, like maybe a foot long

Unlike many competing units, this DOES have a complete plug-in charger. Other units may not. The optical cord is very short, which will work in some but not all installations. Most other units do not have an optical cord included, so this is a plus, not a minus! Also, smaller than many other units. Has headphone jack.

Wonderful Converter

I can finally hear my earphones. Without this converter, I could not hear out of my earphones for almost 2 years. Very easy to install. Just follow easy instructions. I'm very happy with this device. Now when I watch TV and elevated trains whizz by, I don't miss any words being spoken because I can now hear every word spoken on TV.

Very well made ,does exactly what I wanted for small money's . Very pleased with this product, bought it to get audio from my PS4 slim to my surround sound, works perfectly.
