This is a very nice, impressive kit with high quality components, a lot of useful accessories and really nice gauges with up front control valves. One small, easily accomplished adjustment that is absolutely critical to perform, or the gauges will not function, is the adjustment of the small brass tab in the end of the hoses that are connected to the ports with Schrader valves. These little tabs are originally threaded too far into the hoses to activate the Schrader valves on the low pressure side, or the fill port. However, a small tool is included with the kit specifically for adjusting the small brass tab in the ends of the hoses. it is identical to the adjusting the air valve in a vehicle tire or a basketball. Simple and easy but it must be done. For example, the blue hose for the pressure gauge. When I first connected the pressure gage it read zero. No matter what I did it would not indicate anything. But when I used the included tool and extended the small brass threaded tab one or two turns out, it made all the difference in the world. After extending that tab one or two turns, I reattached the female end of the blue hose leading to the pressure gage. About half way on it began to depress the Schrader valve, easily detected by escaping refrigerant. Perfect! Read 80 PSI. Connected the refrigerant hose to the low pressure port the same way but let it bleed refrigerant from the R134a tank for 1-2 seconds to force out any air in the fill hose and started to slowly bleed in refrigerant, pulsing it for a second at a time until the gage read 117 psi, which has been reported to be right for the Fujitsu mini-split. This is a high quality kit and well worth the investment but you must remember to extend the small brass tabs in the hoses that are connected to male ports with internal Schrader valves, using the included tool, and everything will work perfectly. In the attached photos you can see the blue pressure gauge indicating 117 psi and the other photo is the small brass tab that must be extended with the included Schrader valve adjusting tool to ensure everything works as designed. Do this and you will not ahve any proboems. Highly recommended.

Good 1st time manifold gauge

I know there are a lot of sophicated manifold gauges out there. I wanted a basic inexpensive manifold gauge to check my AC units that have 410a Refrigerant. This works perfectly for that. The gauges are easy to read. I never tested it but comes with the attachments for a R-134a and R-22 refrigerants. I will update my review after using it on one of those systems. You can also order 410a Refrigerant on Amazon if you are low in refrigerant.

Excellent Gauge set product

One of the most complete sets for HVAC work I have ever purchased. All the fittings one would need are in the case. A handy case is included as well. Easy to read gauges. Instruction sheet for anyone who might need it. A very good product for the money. I highly recommend the set.

Exceptional value

Impressive supply of adapters. The laminated instruction card with instructions and hookup diagrams is a nice touch. Everything included looks well made and the plastic tote box even has an empty area that’s ideal for a UVG Micron gauge and a 10ml bottle of Nylog Blue. A must item for the do-it-yourselfer!

Quality guages!

Great set for the price. I repair AC's occasionally as a handyman and compared to some $200+ guages.... They do the trick.

Remove the car, add F° temperature

No conversion on Gage from C° to F°. Said not for car usage but illustration of chart shows being use on car.
