This trail cam is like the little brother compared to the larger sized cameras but with all the same features. The camouflage color makes it more discreet & the size makes it easier to handle. Between the animals rummaging through the trash & digging holes in my yard, I was interested to see who the perps were. Turns out, one was a raccoon & the other was a family of squirrels. Squirrels during the day, and the raccoon at night. I installed this camera on a fence post next to my shed where the sneaky travelers pass through. 4 AAA batteries are required (not included) and I opted for rechargeable ones. Despite the colder temperatures, the battery life is considerably good & holding up to the weather. Only one bar of battery missing from the screen after a week. Mounting was straightforward and the mount itself has held its position. A few inches of snow didn't leak water inside the casing & the camera functions like normal. Playback can be done on the camera screen or remove the microSD card and view on a computer. Both day & night pictures & video are clear and using the time stamp helps to identify the action. Overall a great trail camera that can be used for a vast amount of sneaky activity.

We purchased this trail cam for our 1-acre wooded lot we just moved to. We were curious as to what creatures might be adventuring in our yard at night. In just three days we caught several good quality videos of raccoon at night, which was pretty cool since we've not seen any during the evening hours we've been awake and outside. We also caught a picture of a hummingbird who was checking out the camera! The video and picture quality have been excellent for our needs. It seems to be quite sensitive as we've captured many pictures of my husband mowing past it and the kids/dog playing around it during the day. The settings and features are easy to set up. Reminded me of an old school digital camera set up before smart phones. Our 9 year old enjoys checking out the videos when she is outside playing. It was super easy to transfer the videos/photos to my computer with the included USB cord. We love looking through them each weekend! We would definitely recommend it!

I bought this to watch the back door of my garage. I have been worried that someone may be snooping around and wanted to see if I could catch someone in the act. The camera caught some neighborhood kids travelling through my yard and also caught myself going into the garage. I also had a few night pics but they did not come out good due to some tree branches reflecting the IR light. Seems like a decent camera, I will move it to the woods next fall to see if I can catch some big bucks on film.

I have been using this to see what has been killing my chickens, I figured it was a fox but I have caught so much more on camera. I installed the camera a month and a half ago and the batteries are half dead. I feel that getting 3 months out of the batteries is great, that's pretty much all of hunting season here. I think the price is great, and the quality of the photos is just as expected. Night time features work great to, I have many pictures of cats, raccoons, opossums, skunk, and fox. During the day I have pictures of many squirrels, cats, dogs, birds, and more fox. I have liked this so much that I am buying 3 more to use on the property.

Update: it isn’t giving me the upload pictures option but I will figure it out soon. Great little compact mini camera! I am very Impressed by the high quality and easy operation of the camera. I read several reviews before ordering the camera. I was looking for one that was reasonably priced that would get the job done as well as those expensive cameras and I indeed found it. It is very sensitive in catching anything that moves with a fast trigger time. The night vision is great too, unfortunately I deleted this pictures which had 3 young deers on them but I will add more pictures later. The pictures I am adding now are during the day, one is of a coyote, carpenter bee and sunlight shinning through the trees. At this price and the great quality of this camera I will definitely by more of these if I need more cameras in the future. I have no doubt the videos will be just as good as the pictures, when I try that I will upload them.

Really like this little camera. Mainly use it to see what is visiting the barn and to check out what's living in various "holes" on the property (feral cats and an abundance of rabbits). For the pictures I have attached, the camera was sitting on a bucket approximately 1 foot off the ground. The bowl is approximately 5-7 feet away. The door is roughly 10 feet away. For $40 it's pretty inexpensive entertainment.

I've used more expensive trail cameras and didn't get the results I did from this one. The only "throw away" shots it took were due to squirrels and not wind, or sun glare or some other wasteful reason. I'm supper happy with this camera and will be buying more.

Was not expecting such a good quality pictures and performance for such an inexpensive model. I just needed something to keep an eye on my goats and this trail cam was a winner! Easy to use - lots of options when programming. Very rugged - has already gone through some heavy rain storms without any damage. Night pictures are great quality even when the spot light is off and the range is perfect. Love the time stamp and temp on bottom. Definitely worth it! Need to get a second one now for the other side of the barn!

The kids and I ordered this trail cam after reading other recommendations. Our immediate goal is to catch a mamma robin and her three eggs. I need to tweak where the camera is sitting. Then we will use it at our farm to spot wildlife. The photos came out fine for us - the one with her tail is blurry sort of, but I suspect she was moving a great deal. The camera was placed about 6-8 inches from the nest. I was very excited to see the temperature and time stamps on the photos. Additionally, we first put up the camera (at a bad angle) during 3 days of 2+ inches of rain a day - it poured for days!!! And the casing on this camera allowed NO water in. That is awesome!!! The camera directions were super easy to follow to set it up. I cannot wait to see the babies grow and then what else we find roaming at the farm.

We purchased this camera to capture the animals that were walking through the yard. The night vision and motion capture are good overall with good image quality so that we can see what animal came by. Since the camera triggers to catch a photo then start video, occasionally the photo will capture the tail of the animal and nothing will show up on the video (see photos). This can be remedied by adjusting the location of the camera so that the animal walks across the sensor instead of towards it. We have it set on 5M and 720p video at 1min at high sensitivity. The sound quality is surprisingly good and we can hear the animals walking in the snow. This gives a good tradeoff with quality and how much the card will hold. We use rechargeable eneloop batteries which will show the battery is low but the card will fill up once or twice before the battery runs out. The LCD is helpful if you want to quickly check if there are images/video captured but can be difficult to see if the animal is small. Overall good camera for price and has worked in very low temperatures.
