No more mold!!
Hello Vacplus people! We discovered mold in our apartment. A lot of it. To anyone who has ever dealt with it, I feel your devastation. It is a waking nightmare. It’s gross and scary and overwhelming. You feel like burning your place down to the ground is the only answer. After the long hard cleanup, I purchased a 6 pack of Valplus and put them in every room. I can SLEEP NOW. Literally, the mold was on the flip side of our mattress. I didn’t sleep for a week or so even though we’d removed it. I was terrified it would just immediately return. It’s been a little over a year now and I just keep replacing the Valplus when they’re full of liquid and NO MOLD. I can’t explain what the security I feel means. I could spend the money for a large dehumidifier but these are easy and inexpensive. You can place them anywhere and they don’t make noise or raise your power bill. Forever loyal and grateful for this product. :)

Great product - effective and unscented!
I had great luck with another Vacplus moisture absorber (the hanging bags), so I was eager to try these boxes, and have been very pleased with the results! The pictures I included show about 2 weeks worth of water collected (I have 3 in my living room). I live near the ocean in a hot/humid environment and have tried a lot of dehumidifying products (DampRid, A&H, etc.). Other products have leaked, tipped-over, melted, and smelled terrible, but I have not had any of those issues with the Vacplus items. Specifically, it's a rigid/sturdy box (not a cheap/flimsy plastic); doesn't easily tip-over (and even if it did tip-over, the blue top is securely in place over a special paper that keeps the moisture in); and it's legit unscented.

I give the Moisture Absorber Box a solid 5* rating
Where to begin; I had been using the hang-up style (Damp Rid) and twice the bags have broken leaving me with a total mess to clean up. I love that these boxes sit nicely on my closet shelf, and should I accidentally knock one over I don't have to work about spillage. I also find that the boxes last much longer than the hang up bags. I live in FL and with the (almost) constant humidity I have to change the hang-up bags almost weekly. The boxes tend to last 3 - 4 weeks. So there is quite a financial savings. I purchased the 6 pack from Amazon where I got twice as much product for half the price of an equivalent amount of Damp Rid.

Love these!
Ok, so I must admit that I am surprised that these little boxes are working! I have a musty, humid bedroom in which I have tried everything to remedy the situation! Cannot find any sources of leaks or cracks. Also, the air fresheners just added to the mix of smells and did nothing to relieve the heavy, stagnant air. After 4 months of trying to solve the problem, I decided to try these absorbers. I put two in the medium-sized bedroom -- one on each side. For the first three days, I didn't notice any difference, and the balls didn't seem to be absorbing anything. Then, around day 4, I noticed that the balls were clumping together a bit (even though there was no water in the bottom of the container yet). However, the room didn't seem as humid. A few days later, the balls were mostly one big clump -- still no water yet, but I have noticed a big difference in the smell and humidity! I can't believe it! I will always buy these as long as I live here. I imagine the balls will eventually turn into water, but it doesn't even really matter because they are already working. So if they don't seem to be working in the first few days, keep them in place and give it some time. Awesome!

Just what the doctor ordered!!
Had left a window down on my car and it got a little wet inside. It started to smell a bit musty and the windows were fogging up. Put this under my seat for 2 days and cleared it all up!! I'm guessing its just a huge version of those little packets you get in shoe boxes. I've even heard of people using these to help dry out water soaked phones!!!

Outstanding Product For Removing Condensation From Auto Windows
Somehow over a period of lengthy heavy rain, water accumulated inside of my car. No matter how much water was removed my inner windows would constantly be covered with condensation. The air conditioner and defroster would temporarily help but once they were shut off and the windows closed the condersation would reappear. The first night I put one of these by my back window & no condensation at all. Unlike most other similar products the top of the container is covered in a paper mesh type material which prevents spillage. When driving I place the container on the back seat with the seat belt strap holding it in place and it never spills. I had a lot of moisture in my car and after about 3 weeks I will probably have to replace it. I would think in less drastic conditions it should last 4 -6 weeks. It is also completely odorless which I like. I hate perfumey smells which most other similar products are. Highly recommended product.

Pretty easy to use and they certainly work as advertised.
I found these to be very effective for two different problem spots in the "fixer upper" house that I am living at and working on. The under sink area had quite a bit if residual moisture and odor due to a previous leak, and the moisture was controlled and the odor pretty much dissapeared. The other area was just a test to see how well it could absorb from the inside of a piece of furniture after it got rained on and it did pretty well over the course of the night and into the next day. Happy with these little guys. They did what I needed them to do.

Good product for enclosed, high humidity areas
I first have to say, Vacplus customer service is amazing, if you have any trouble of doubt reach out to them, the email is right there in the product! I used the bags from the same brand and they work well, so I wanted to try this format to see if they lasted more. I used them in the bathrooms, inside closets, and under the kitchen sink. The problem was after one week I saw no water being collected, when the little bags had a good amount of water after one week, so something was not right. After emailing customer service they asked me to leave them for one more week, and to change things I moved one box to my dishwasher, to absorb moisture in between uses. And that one works great! You can see the water being collected. I use these boxes for the laundry machine and dishwasher, in between uses, and avoid that bad smell you can get if you don't use the appliances too often. I am using bags for open spaces, like bathrooms and closets, and they work fine. So be aware of the locations, depending on the place the little bags work better than the boxes.

They appear to be working.
While I don't seem to have a particularly bad case of excess humidity in my home, I thought they may be useful for a few special use cases. While I do not have any water collecting at the bottom of the three boxes I have started using, the calcium chloride pellets are clumping up, so they appear to be doing their job of absorbing moisture. So, they should be able to handle much bigger jobs than what I am using them for, so for very light jobs they should last a very long time. Time will tell.

Works!!!
These area great! They work just as good as the more expensive brands. I place these under the bed to help reduce the excess moisture that evaporated into the house after it rains. I live in a older wood home that tends to get a little too humid after the rains. I love that this has a little protector so if it tips over it does not pour out. Which is awesome since that has happened with other brands in the past and is very frustrating to deal with. These work great and have no complaints!!
