Good value 1/16 uncoated cable for the budget-conscious buyer.
This is exactly what you'd expect and nothing you wouldn't. It's basic uncoated steel cable. It's light, flexible, and stronger than nylon, fabric, or plastic strings of the same diameter. Be aware that it is uncoated, so it will rust in the rain, and will unravel slightly at the end if handled too much. When securing it with a crimp sleeve you have to be cautious while threading the sleeve, otherwise a few strands may get bent away from the main cable and make it impossible to thread the sleeve without clipping off the damaged end. And of course, if you clip an inch of uncoated cable, you'll have tiny metal strands that will happily fall down and scatter all over. So wear gloves, work cautiously, and you'll do fine. I used this to make a bean trellis and so far it's been great. Wouldn't use it for a clothesline due to the rusting issue, and I wouldn't use it where a failure could cause injury (the 368# break strength seems accurate, but I'm not going to trust my life on that). It's great for perching wire, trellises, hanging planter boxes/bird feeders, and other general light-duty home and garden functions.

String lights
I bought string lights a couple years ago and never hung them because I was debating different methods. I’m pretty happy with this wire. The wire is holding steady in high winds and seems perfect. Two things others may have mentioned: most “regular” wire cutters aren’t getting through this. I bought 3 tools before one worked, if there are any threads/scraps from this be very careful. I had an inch long piece embedded fully in my leg somehow. If you cut the wire over a box or bowl, you’ll be set...a proper cutting tool prevents the wire from breaking into tiny pieces.

Worked beautifully!
While this product turned out to be slightly thinner than I expected, it appears to be very sturdy and pliable. We used it to wrap around the base of our dog kennel to keep our pooches from digging or pushing out of the chain link fencing and to keep critters (namely coyotes) out. It seems like it's ideal for that purpose, and I'm sure I'll use it for other needs along the way.

Great product
This product did exactly what I needed. It produced superior strength and has maintained it's components. However, it was my fault that I did not have the correct tool for cutting the wire rope. I seemed to peel the wire layers off instead of a quick snip. Just a suggestion: Please give a suggestion for the type of cutter to use when purchasing this wire rope. Rookies like me learn the hard way.

Skinny but tough
Bought from Amazon "also bought" referral when turnbuckles for shade tarps, the little holder clips make loop making quick and easy for securing. The small diameter of the wiring made me skeptical initially but after putting up I am more than pleased. I think would work great in other applications as well.

Perfect!
Received exactly what I ordered and really fast. Used this cable outdoors with zinc plated copper ferrules, worked great using a swage tool designed for crimping.

Good Value.
I looked at buying the same product through my local Home Depot and would only get a fraction of the amount of cable for the same price. Even though this was much more than I needed, I now have a lot leftover for my next project for same price.

Bargain price for quality product
This is a great price for the product. I only needed a fraction of the length but this was a much better value than shorter lengths. Flawless.
