Extension stopper fails

There is a little piece of steel (key) with a small spring under it that's supposed to stop you from over-extending the bar. The first time I opened the package, I slid the extension out and boing! The spring and little piece of steel went flying. I put it back together. Loaned it to a guy at work and he did the same thing, except lost the spring. I cut a spring from a pen to replace it, but there just isn't enough lip on the end of the extension for that little "key" to catch. I remedied it by covering the key and spring with a piece of tape to keep it from flying away, and that gave it just enough extra thickness to keep it from over-extending. Edit - Original review was 3 stars, added 2 stars for the EXCEPTIONAL customer service. After reading my original review, Mark with the Olsa Tools Customer Support Team contacted me and promptly shipped a replacement. The new one functions as expected. Fantastic

Never seem to have the right breaker... so I use PVC from time to time and it is very strong, but this is way better. I can change it when needed and it swivels nice to remove the bolt wiithout even grabbing a ratchet. Awesome tool, glad I bought it.

Absolutely STRONG!

This thing is all you will need for the medium duty breaker bar job. The variable length makes it perfect to fit in my vehicle's tool box. Don't hesitate to buy it.

Used for mower blade removal

I bought this item and an 18 mm craftsman socket just for the purpose of taking my mower blades off my John Deere riding mower. Works very well.

Solid!!!

This is a solid ratchet/breaker-bar. It's solid, and its not flimsy or cheap. Also doubles up as a great protection for yourself in your car if need be.

This has a nice weight to it and the extra length is just right to give you the power you need to get the job done.

Extension doesn't have any significant wobble. Very handy to have a built in extension. Good purchase.

Excellent product!

This is a quality breaker bar. I like that you can adjust it however the locking mechanism is just ehh. Sometimes I cant remember what way I tightened it and then when I want to adjust the length I’m not sure which way to turn it so I kinda just have to mess around with it.

Great for breaking tire lugs!

I needed this to make sure I could survive a flat on the road. Works great and the expansion greatly helps with leverage.
