This travel potty is exactly what I was looking for. My son is tiny and definitely can't use an adult size potty yet. I was the mom carrying his normal potty around because I was disgusted by the thought of him trying to not fall through in regular toilet. The potty fits nicely on every seat I've tried so far. When using it as a stand alone potty it is low to the ground but my toddler doesn't seem to mind. It's small enough to fit in my backpack diaper bag no problem. I also love that he can hold on to the "legs" instead of grabbing the public seat I use it with a toilet seat cover and it's the perfect pair.

My daughter is small and doesn't want me to hold her on the seat, this seat fits on every public toilet I have put it on and folds up small enough to fit inside a gallon size zip lock bag (the bag won't seal but the seat fits). I use a wet bag to keep the zip lock in and it works great, the seat fits in the big pocket and hand wipes and extra clothes fit in the front pocket. I was nervous at first that the legs would fold in when I put her on it but so far so good and we have used it a lot. We take it hiking with us too since it stands on it's own and we haven't tried to teach her to squat yet. So, I have purchased three of these since I misplaced two of them through the course of moving states and generally getting out with my kids. This is a fabulous product (hence the repurchase). This travel potty has fit any seat in any bathroom that I've taken my kids into. It works with boys and girls and has no forward and backwards so you don't have to worry about orientation, really. The sides either fold out to be used on a toilet and act as handles for the kiddos or they stand and click in place so the seat can be used as a stand alone potty. It's easy to fold out and is very stable on the toilets I've used so that the kids don't slide around. That is very important for the kids to be comfortable enough to go in a strange bathroom. I can't tell you the number of times I've used this in a parking lot, park, or by the side of the road on a road trip. The handles even have a grippy, rubbery part that makes it stable when used as a stand-alone potty. It works great. The kids like the colors and they seem comfortable on it for a reasonable amount of time given that it is hard plastic. My kids have sat on it for 30 minutes sometimes, when needed. It's also easy to clean. I usually just rinse it off when I can and occasionally soap it down. The seat also comes with a fairly sturdy carry plastic bag with draw string and a few bags that can go over the potty and catch whatever the kids have coming for easy disposal afterwards. If you run out of those, you can use standard grocery plastic bags. Very good design, I think. Frankly, I mostly just put the potty seat on the grass or curb and make sure that the feet are uphill of the stream. The seat is fairly thick but I never had a lot of trouble stashing it in my diaper bag. I just have to clean out a few things first. The only problem with this potty seat is that it doesn't have a homing device so that I can locate my first two potty seats. Seriously, I'd pay for that app. Happy Pottying!

Other moms recommended this seat to me and I'm forever grateful that they did. This little seat has saved us time and again. It has travelled through England and Wales. Attended festivals, fireworks, and parties. Done it's duty at the beach, in the car, on the plane, in public restrooms, in private restrooms, at the pool, at the playground, at the Botanical Gardens... you name it. The ease with which you can use it either as a stand alone potty or as a toddler seat on regular toilets is great. There have been countless times that we have had to use it pronto and pulled it out/set it up/packed it back up and got back rolling in record time. Our son is 3 years old and big for his age (42 lbs & 41 inches tall). It is a short little seat but he has no problems with it. He fits fine and it holds his weight easily. I wouldn't use it as his "at home" option because it wasn't built for that kind of use and it isn't as comfortable as the Bjorn, for instance, but it is great when we are on the go. He knows he has to hold himself down to avoid spills so we are not bothered by the fact that there is not a big cover for little boys. Our biggest challenge with the seat? We have tried using plastic grocery bags with outgrown extra diapers used as the absorbent instead of the Potette liners - we won't be doing that anymore. If you miss seeing the hole in the bag then everything leaks. We found out the hard way several times now so we are going back to the Potette liners. Otherwise it works like a charm. It is small enough that it fits in a backpack/diaper bag/large purse. I'm the mom that magically pulls the potty out of her purse at soccer in the public park when one of the kiddos needs to go right now, the public toilet is too far and people frown on just going in the grass. (Although most of the moms now have this seat too. We are all packing Potettes. Haha.) It has truly helped our little guy with his potty training and helps me avoid all of the extra wash associated with all of the accidents that would have happened if we didn't have this little wonder. Tips: 1. Lock the legs in place when using it as a stand alone seat or it won't be sturdy. When locked in properly the seat is very solid/sturdy. 2. Set the seat up in the car before you go on long drives/trips. It helps to have it already set up before you pull over to have the little ones use the seat. 3. We see the Summer Infant Keep Me Clean Disposable Potty covers for public toilets. They definitely help with the "ick" factor by protecting both your child and the Potette from coming in contact with any part of the public seat. 4. It is small enough to keep with you... so just take it with you. Easy peasey. My family has always teased me for grabbing it when we go out but they always are grateful I have it is the end!

This little potty is unbelievable! We are in the car a lot and out running around and we use it on EVERY outing! We've taken it camping, boating, and just general errand running (store parking lots!). She's comfortable in it and likes it better than the "indoor potty". Clean up is EASY as the bags completely cover the potty and seal extremely well when you tie them. I love this thing!

We bought this to take away on vacation with a newly potty trained kid who refuses to sit on a full sized toilet. Previously, we had been carting around various full-sized models in the car or just hoping he didn't have to go while we were on a walk. This potty has changed everything. Our three year old likes it, which is really the biggest obstacle to overcome. It is really hand that it folds up and fits in a bag. We can toss it under the stroller or bring it anywhere we need. The bags are admittedly a little gross, but it's not like cleaning out a regular potty is great either so I think that's a wash here. I also like that it can be both a travel potty and a toilet seat so if our little guy ever stops being the most stubborn kid in the world, we might actually be able to use this to transition him onto the toilet. The build quality is good, we've been putting a lot of miles on this little seat and it has been great. Just make sure the legs are locked in place before your kid sits down on it (we had one mishap and it taught us a very quick lesson in not skipping this step). I would buy this potty again and will certainly be recommending it to anyone I know looking for a travel potty.

Buy it, you won’t regret it! Having a 2.5 year old who has recently been potty trained and finding a clean safe public bathroom is a nightmare(especially with a girl). Worry no more with this light weight travel potty. It’s literally saved us from TONS of accidents. We take it and have used it everywhere we go. City streets, trains, car rides but most of all playgrounds. When your kid/s has to go they have to go! Good luck running, trying to find a bathroom with your other children and a stroller. Almost impossible. They can’t hold it for long so having this travel potty makes life so convenient. We get stopped often when it’s out and so many people can’t believe how cool it is. It’s my favorite child item for sure! You won’t regret it. We store ours in a light weight draw string bag, with tissues, wipes and tons of plastics bags and we’re good to go!

Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration. But this little thing is surprisingly fantastic for the price. We keep it set up and ready to go in the car. It's easy to pack on vacation so we don't have to worry about carrying around a little potty seat. And full disclosure: this works for adults, too. Ha ha. We only have one bathroom in our house, and one of our house guests admitted weeks after her stay that she'd used this little thing to great success because the bathroom had been occupied for too long! (She'd simply changed and replaced the liner herself, and no one was the wiser.) Proof it's easy to use and figure out. We got a big kick out of that. I don't care how old my little girl gets (she is now 3), this will be in our car forever.

Love this for my toddler. Instead of him having to go to the nasty public bathroom I can let him use this in the car. He is totally potty trained with #1 so this helps when he has to do #2 when were out and about. Love how you can use any bag! I dont see the point in buying the bags it comes with. We use grocery bags and I cut up puppy pads in squares to use to put in the bag to absorb. It's worked great and the puppy pads last a long time I've only bought one pack which was super cheap and haven't had to get another one.

I am just buying more refills and thought id put a review out here. This potty has been through multiple kids and has never left the back seat of my car. That is where is has lived for 6 years. It stows away completely hidden and when a kids says that "I have to go potty" I just slide it out and pop their butts down and we are good to go. Have never had any issues what so ever with stability or smell or anything I can possibly think of. Best 16 bucks I have spent on my kids thus far in their lives and may just still be in my car after they graduate...cuz you never know when you might have to go.
