When I ordered this product I was leaving for a weekend vacation, in which I was taking my truck and did not want to have any problems with anything in my truck bed getting wet. I ordered days before leaving and received it within 2 days. All seemed great until we opened the package and it was the total wrong size in the box. Called customer service and they were unable to get me a new one before I was to go on my trip. After speaking with their customer rep I decided to try and have a new one delivered to the destination I was going to(a family members house). It arrived just hours after I got to my destination. We found it very easy to install, just when securing the clips underneath I had to just make sure I payed close attention that the silver clip pieces did not move when I tightened them. So happy with the ease of opening and closing of this product on my truck. After we put it on within 3 hours It down poured. When the rain stopped, I opened the tailgate and sure enough it was totally dry. Yes, there was a slight hiccup in the beginning of this purchase, but the company did good and arranged for pickup of the wrong product, whilst sending the new one. For the price I am very satisfied. Hopefully this review helps at least one person.

This is my second Tonneau Cover. My first is on my 2007 Ram 1500 and I just bought a 2019 Ram Classic 1500 so I needed a new cover. I have Adarac racks for my kayaks and other things and wanted a cover that did not cover the post holes and this was one of the very few that fit that criteria. I have not yet installed the racks as I need to take them off my 2007 but already checked to make sure they fit. I ordered this on Wednesday and received it on Friday and 45 minutes later I had it installed. Very easy. The rails fit perfectly so I did not need a clamp to hold them while I installed the permanent clamps. There is a gasket type seal on each rail and a rubber gasket type flap on each end. Those will likely keep out most of the water from rain. I live in Florida near the beach so lots of rain depending on the time of the year. The only tool needed was a socket wrench with 1/2" and 9/16" sockets. The 1/2" is for the rail clamps and the 9/16" is for the cover attachment to the rails. While I gave it a 5* rating for durability I am hoping that's not premature. The cover is warranted for 10 yrs. My other cover has a lifetime warranty but was almost twice the price 12 yrs ago. he material seems thick enough but only time and the Florida sun will tell. Anyway, it was easy and fast to install and does exactly what I wanted it to so zero complaints and a great price!

I searched a while as I’m sure you are doing now. Lots of different brands, styles, prices, etc. I decided I was not going to pay $900 for hard cover and I wasn’t going to buy a snap on piece of cr*p. I paid $20-$30 more and went with the Gator tri-fold. Looks great and easy install on my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with 6’ 4” bed. It took me 20 minutes to install, but if I had to do it again, I could install it in 3-4 minutes. (I did cut a 1/4” x 1” strip of the bed rail plastic to make sure it clasped well, but probably was overkill). Just stop shopping and reading reviews and place the order. Worthwhile investment if price and quality are important. Gator seems to have a good name in the tonneau business too.

Great deal for the money. Probably the nicest cover you can get for under $300, maybe under $400. The fit is absolutely perfect. Installed on 2011 Ram 1500 quad cab with 6'4 bed. I have a bedrug liner installed and it still worked great. No water leakage so far. I was skeptical at first of the velcro style setup but after using it a few times I'm sold. So much more bed access than a trifold. The trigger release mechanism is pretty slick. When installing make sure you follow instructions and look at the pics for help. Do not over tighten the nuts in the back corners. They are supposed to be able to slide back and forth to mate up with the cab side.

Hard Tri-Fold for my 2018 Ram 1500. I have the factory bed liner and this tonneau cover installed just fine without any modifications to cover or bed liner. It took me about 30 minutes to install by myself, it would only take 15 if I had to do it again. I like being able to release the latches on both sides with the single cable pull. This means you can open the cover from either side. The only thing that could be improved is the weatherstripping for the front edge. The supplied weatherstripping is flimsy and doesn't provide a good seal where there is a gap between the front and side liner pieces. I'll probably have to put some clear silicon caulk in that gap. Other than that this cover works perfectly. Warning, in direct sun it gets very hot and isn't pleasant to touch.

I waited a few months before writing this review. I would definitely buy this cover again. Cover is easy to install it took me about 30-40 minutes to install. But if I did it again it would take me about half that time. Water stays out of the bed of my truck, it has been been dry as a whistle. And cover seems to be pretty durable. Just FYI this cover is the tri-fold hard top. I noticed when I was reading reviews that they mix all reviews on all covers together from soft roll covers, soft tri-fold and hard tri-fold covers. I put this cover on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic.

Really like this cover. Put it on and had a really hard blowing rain that night. Bed was nice and dry. Didn't flap like I expected a vinyl cover to. Took it on two long trips and no problems. Already been through several rains with no issues. Don't know how long it will last in the long run but at this price I don't feel guilty if I sell the truck or have a problem. At 1/5 the cost you can afford to buy a new one. I already bought one for my father in laws truck. Mine is on a 2014 Ram 1500 crew cab with 6'4" bed and it fit perfect corner to corner. And I have a hard drop in liner and I didn't have to cut it for the clamps to fit or anything. And goes on in literally 5 minutes or less.

Didn't know what to expect when ordering a tonneau cover to put on myself. I do most work on my vehicles myself, so I knew I could do it, but you never know if its as easy as they say. This, I am happy to say, was. Pretty much anybody could do it. I bought the Gator product that specifically fits my 2016 Ram 1500 truck with the shorter bed (crew cab). I am very pleased. The C-clamps that come to put the side rails on were a little frustrating to work with, but I got the job done. I hear a colleague say they ordered a different tonneau cover brand and didn't have these clamps and had to buy them. They used the hand tightening C style lamps, I think those would work with this product too, but I like the clamps being bolted on with the included ones. Instructions were relatively good, there is some room for improvement, I suggest reading ahead, as some of the steps don't seem to make a lot of sense until you read the next page and look at the product a little bit. But with some patience and not moving too fast, it becomes clear and easy to handle. All the seals seem like great quality, its easy to use by one-person, easy to shut and clamp. Everything about this product has impressed me so far. I will update this review after its been on the truck for some time to make sure it stands the test of some weather and driving.

I purchased the Gator roll up cover because I didn't want a full hard cover or the 3-piece fold up type. My 2016 Ram Big Horn (6 1/2 foot bed) has the factory hard plastic bed liner, and I had to trim the front corners just a bit to properly fit the cross bar at the front. Other than that it was an easy install. The only plastic type parts are the tension blocks, everything thing else is aluminum (rails and clamps) and of nice quality. I like the locking mechanism that secures the top when the tail gate is locked. The cover attaches to the inside of the bed (not on top) so the bed pockets remain available without removing the cover.

I got my soft tri-fold for my 2019 RAM CREW with the short-bed back in July 2019, but, wanted to see how it faired with the elements and the brush type car washes first before reviewing. It is well made, fits tight, absolutely no water gets in in and my bed has been 100% dry all of the time. It goes on fast, folds up quickly, and has just been awesome through a very hot and Sunny Summer and than a Winter with much snow lately (we just got 13 inches) plus freezing rain on it and a weekly brush type car wash (in which it proved to be water tight!). I did use some vinyl lotion protectant on it during the summer and before winter set in. It's kept the cover looking like new and protected it against the elements. The covering on this has not stretched out much at all. Any soft cover will "wiggle" a bit from the air turbulence going over it, but, my Gator hasn't gotten any worse nor changed at all since the day it was put on. No warpage or any other issues noted on the corners either. I have seen other brands in which the corners began to lift up, revealing the metal frame under them. My Gator has none of this as an issue. I also used plenty of lotion on the corners to protect them, ...maybe that helped too. This soft cover simply proved to be as good or better than what local dealers are selling other brands for $250+ more. 9+ months so far and still good as new and for the cost of around $220, I don't think anyone is going to find a better high quality and low priced soft cover anywhere they search. 5 Stars all around. I may in a year or so, move up to a hard cover and if I do, i will choose Gator first again if at all possible!
