Best case for Air3
I’ve only had this case a week or so, so some of the ratings like durability are a lie. It’s nearly the same as the case I had for my Air2 though, and that was a tank that went through the worst conditions and has now been passed on in the family along with the iPad. I bought this case and the Slim Combo both, I really liked the idea of the lighted keypad and no Bluetooth connection. See my Slim Combo review for the details, but this case wins in all ways. Returning the Slim Combo.

Even better than I expected!
Mine is working great! Google search, “Logitech Slim Folio for iPad Air 3 manual” for the missing manual. The box says Documentation included, but that’s wrong. It’s only online. As others have stated, Product Registration did not recognize my Serial number. 😕 Here are some helpful Setup tips to get started because I see a lot of people are having trouble: Make sure you have the correct Logitech Slim Folio for your model iPad!! It’s easy to accidentally order the wrong one. I caught myself making that mistake. 1. BEFORE putting iPad in the Slim Folio, go into iPad Settings app, scroll down the list of Settings on the left until you see Bluetooth. 2. Tap on Bluetooth to see all Bluetooth settings on the right-side of the window. 3. If not showing as On, tap the slider to turn Bluetooth On. 4. Leave Bluetooth settings on your screen!! 5. Put iPad in Slim Folio cradle and slide it up until it engages the top of the keyboard. The battery light will come on briefly, indicating a proper physical connection. 6. Press and release the Battery button on the top right of the keyboard. 7. Look on the Bluetooth settings screen. Do you see Slim Folio? If not, make sure the iPad is flush against the top of the keyboard. 8. Wait a minute, if necessary, until your iPad shows Slim Folio on the Bluetooth screen. 9. Slim Folio should be listed. Mine was listed and working, even though it was shown as "Not connected" in iPad Bluetooth settings. To correct this, press the Bluetooth button on the keyboard. Top row, 2nd button from the right with the Bluetooth symbol on it. VOILA! You should be connected and ready to type now. TIPS on Keyboard Shortcuts that I use every day: A. The key I use the most is the Home key, top row all the way on the left with the rounded corner box on it. The Home key makes the “Desktop” appear, no many how many apps are running. If you use a Passcode, it will bring up the login screen. B. Cmd-Tab cycles through all the open apps and displays them in a temporary horizontal “Dock” in the center of the screen. C. Cmd-Q to close the current app. D. Press and hold the Cmd key to see any keyboard shortcuts specific to the app on your screen. Example 1: Open Apple Notes. Press and hold the Cmd key. You’ll see a short list of keyboard shortcuts. Example 2: Open Safari web browser. Press and hold the Cmd key. Now you see 2 columns of shortcuts, plus there’s a 2nd page of shortcuts you can scroll to see, Some apps don’t have any keyboard shortcuts, so don’t be alarmed if none appear. The Logitech Slim Folio seems sturdy enough, if you’re not rough with it. Hope this helps! I really like this keyboard, so far.

Very sturdy
This keyboard is wonderful. It is sturdy , and easy to hold and the covering is smooth. I have banged my ipad by mistake several times and it has protected it each time. I charged it completely when I first received it. I did not plug it in for at least 4 days, when I looked at the percentage, it was at 40 percent. This is the type of keyboard that I need, because I forget to turn off my electronics at times. The color is nice and not flashy.

Not bulky at all
Everyone needs to calm down about the “bulky” aspect of this keyboard. This is a protective keyboard/case. You were never going to keep your iPad that slim. This isn’t bulky at all. It’s in my slim briefcase and doesn’t add any weight at all. It’s actually slimmer than my wife’s regular case. The keyboard has a great feel and the only thing about the Bluetooth pairing that’s a little mistake (In the directions) is that after you enter the password you need to press enter on the keyboard. I paired this in seconds. The magnet is extremely strong and the keyboard locks the iPad in place very firmly. I use it on my lap in the car constantly and it doesn’t budge. The closure magnet is equally strong and keeps the iPad closed and protected. The only concern I have is the battery tray. It uses coin batteries and while that doesn’t scare me, sometimes those trays and connections come apart after you use it so many times. My last keyboard needed to be recharged every 6-8 months. I doubt I’ll see 4 years out of these batteries but, if I can get between 8-12 months it’s just fine. For what it’s worth, this unit with the iPad in it is the same thickness as my phone with a protective case. Great protection, great keyboard and certainly worth the $99.

So far so good!
Testing this new typing keyboard for my iPad Air 3. I figured I would type the review. It works pretty well!!! I like the feel of the keys. They are spaced very well. They respond easily to my touch. I can type pretty fast on it like a full sized keyboard (which is saying a lot because I have fat fingers). This is the initial review. I literally just opened the package. I will add to this review after using the case for a couple of weeks. So far so good!

Great Keyboard case
When I got a new iPad, I needed another case and keyboard. After doing my research, I settled on this one and am glad I did. After establishing the initial pairing, when I open the case and set the iPad into the holding slot, it and the keyboard pair immediately. Typing is easy and feels comfortable.

Get this keyboard/case
Connected easily, very responsive. It has a “Tab” key (which I miss on my phone keyboard). It makes my iPad Air an effective work-from-home station.
