Simple To Set Up - Good Motion Detection - 26 Ringtones

I've used this type of motion detection for many years and have used several 1byone motion detectors over the last few years. I use these in conjunction with my security camera system to give me an audible alert when someone is approaching my house. Set-up on this system by 1byone is easy as you can pair up to 5 separate sensors to one receiver and you can have multiple receivers. What sets this system apart from other similar motion detectors I have purchased in the past is the receiver can play up to 36 different melodies (see video) whereas my other motion detectors have one or two obnoxious tones that got tiresome very quickly. You can also choose between 3 volume levels and choose sound only, flash only (led flashed on receiver), or a sound and flash mode. (see pic of controls below) I also have had very few issues with false notifications with the 1byone system. These type of motion detectors use thermal imaging to detect changes in temperature in the detection zone. So if a warm body, car, etc. enters the detection area you will get a notification. To keep from getting unwanted notifications don't point the receiver towards a busy road or thoroughfare or areas with trees or bushes that move easily with the wind. I also suggest mounting the sensor so that it is protected from the sun and rain. The sensor is water resistant, however exposure to moisture is never good for electronics. Also, direct sun exposure will eventually discolor and dry out the white plastic body and cause the front lens to dry out and crack. Simple But Effective

We were looking for some way to be able to tell if a delivery person is coming to our house since most of them don't ring the doorbell or knock anymore due to contact-less deliveries. This solves that problem. I placed one by the tree facing our front door and the other in the back alley of our house, more for security purposes. Motion detection is great and the matching receiver is pretty loud enough but not to the point of being annoying. You have the option to choose what alert sound it will make and how loud and I just chose a simple knocking sound so it's less intrusive to the other people in the house. Detectors were pretty easy to install, comes with screws so attaching to various surfaces is not a problem and the receiver keeps your selections even when you unplug it, which is great so you can "program" the device somewhere easy to access, the you can move it somewhere else more hidden. Great product overall and if I had to say one negative thing about it is motion detectors don't come with batteries so you have to buy 6 AAA batteries (3 each) to get everything working. Aside from that, no complains here.

It works EVERY time!

I can't tell you how really pleased I am with this alarm system. In the last few months I have tried several and wasted a lot of money. Most of which worked one time and then for some mysterious reason would no longer work after that. All very odd. However, this system has worked out great. I use one sensor in my mail box and the other is in my garage. I store a lot of supplies in my garage and I worry about someone breaking in and stealing my stuff. We also have a problem with mail boxes being broken into by thieves looking for checks or whatever. I haven't had any attempted thefts lately, but I am notified every time mails is delivered and the alarm goes off every time I enter the garage. I am very very pleased and the price is right. Also set up is a breeze. I highly recommend!

LOVE the Selection of Alarm Sounds

We can't see our driveway from our log cabin and, living deep in the country, we need something to let us know when someone is here. We've had several driveway alarms over the years and this one is by far our favorite. The selection of alarm sounds is amazing. Our personal favorite is the Coo-Coo Clock sound. It is pleasing, soothing and SO much better than the other annoying alarm sounds we've had with other units. It occasionally picks up a deer or a weed blowing in the sunshine & wind. But that is rare. This alarm is very easy to set up; we love that the receiver is a plug-in rather than battery-operated. It has a good distance between the sensor and receiver. I highly recommend this Driveway Alarm. Quick delivery and a great investment towards our security.

Very Good Product

Easy to install product. The receiver just need to be plugged and the detectors can be installed anywhere you want with screws detect motion from a long distance My family really feels safe especially during the night. The product Work as doorbell or as alarm as well. Has different tunes and volume level . Really good product.

You can't go wrong!

This is the ultimate solution for my worries of someone breaking into my detached garage and tool shed. I was even able to use the sensors during a week when my fence was down due to some work in the yard. The sensor works so well that it was able to detect when an opossum or a cat crossed the it’s path. They are really sensitive, detect motion up to 30 feet, are made of high quality material (plastic and finish) and the chime is loud. It has 5 volumes and I set mine on 4. Plus the sensors only require AAA batteries which is super convenient. You can even use rechargeables! I am really glad to have found this product, especially after other brands failed me. You can’t go wrong!

No more sneaking in my yard

This was super easy to install, and very easy to use as well. The motion detection runs flawlessly as well.

Very Good product!

We've been using driveway monitors for years. I returned the most recent one we'd purchased off Amazon but returned it because the driveway alarm was not picking up activity on our driveway the way it should. I ordered this one about a month ago and have been very pleased with it so far. The best part is that the indoor monitor receiver does not use a battery! You plug it into an electrical outlet. How easy is that! It also had a good choice of signal sounds for the house and we chose one that doesn't startle us off our couch when it goes off.

Now I know when the delivery man is on my deck

This little thing works great. I purchased this after seeing it work at my parent's home. We put it in a nice little spot that has a step between our deck and garage. This is where typically our delivery people go and set our packages. I work remotely so I don't always hear people pulling in the driveway. Now I can hear when people are coming on/off our deck and this works perfectly. We've only had one false alarm - and I'm confident it was the 50 mph wind that kicked up the gravel in our driveway. Very happy with this purchase

Works without fail

This driveway alarm is flawless in detecting movement around my driveway/mailbox/newspaper holder. I bought it primarily for the detection of when the newspaper gets delivered. Since the delivery time can vary immensely it became an issue to walk 60 paces down the driveway and 60 paces back to see if the newspaper was in the newspaper holder. I mounted the sensing unit inside the plastic newspaper holder and got the added bonus of knowing when the mail truck or anyone arrived at my driveway. I have heart failure and it is getting difficult to walk up and down the hill to my mailbox/paperholder. Just wait until the alarm goes off and look out the window to verify who (person or vehicle) is out there. Highly recommend this product.
