Nice set but be prepared to learn how to use
A very nice set of sharpening stones. The progression of the grit makes it possible to take most dull knives to relatively sharp again with a little effort. There is a bit of a learning curve with these, as with any stones, but once you figure out the angle for proper sharpening it’s easy enough to get lost in the rhythm of it.

Professional quality
Just used the set for the first time and it works great, the base and silicone grips make it very easy to use for someone with little experience using a good water stone set

Great
Using four different grits to sharpen your knives takes a bit of work, but the results are so worth it if you value a really sharp edge.

10/10 would buy again
Easy to use, and all around a great product. I use to use an old whetstone ears ago and didn't realize how used it was. After getting these, I realized that the one I use to have wasnt all that good, even if it produced an edge. The quality is way better and the edge these make are better in my opinion too.

Good product, but instructions not included in my box.
Stones work great. Knives are very sharp. Good quality product. Supplier told me that omitting instructions from box was an oversight. I was able to easily find instructions on videos.

Great first set
This is the first stone set I have ever purchased. They appear to be excellent and work for me. Takes time And patience to learn. I wish there were some detailed instruction

Great whetstone kit for the price.
This was my first time sharpening knives, but after watching a few videos online I was able to sharpen my dull pocket knife to an edge that is sharper than when it was new. I highly recommend this.

Outstanding product
I'm an avid outdoor sportsman and take my time finding the best products. A dull knife is dangerous. This three stone set works perfect in keeping all my knives and scissors sharp, as they should be.

Great beginner/budget set of stones
I have been using these stones for a while now. The hold up well. Feedback is great. I can get razor sharp edges with this set, combined with the sharper pebble strop block. I got these because I was trying to get into hand sharpening, but didn't know where to start, and didn't want to spend a bunch of money. Now that my skills have greatly improved, I still see no need to move on to more expensive stones. These work great. I've been following a certain video series online (burrification), and he even reviewed these against more pro stones. I was surprised when he actually recommended sharper pebble after comparing. It made me feel more confident about my purchase, and I'm happy to recommend these to anyone looking to get into sharpening, or even people who have been sharpening for a while but just need a new stone. As far as sharpening speed goes, I've used these with High Carbon Steel, German Steel, VG10, and stainless steel. Of course the type of metal will dictate the speed, but just let the stone do the work. When I first started I used way too much pressure and gullied my stones pretty bad. Fortunately this set comes with the flattening stone. Now that I'm more experienced, I find that I don't need to use the flattening stone quite as often. Overall I would recommend these to anyone at any experience level, but not to people who do a high volume of sharpening. I'm not sure what the rockwell rating of these stones are, but I do find them to be a little soft. As stated before, just find the right pressure, and there's no reason these shouldn't last you for years.

Works great but you need to practice
I do no know how it compares with a more expensive one, it takes time to sharp a knife and also practice, the first time I tried it was terrible, but following YouTube tutorials I managed to do it with this cheap wet stone. The packaging is great, it arrived complete. I like it a lot. Great wet stone. It comes with no instructions so you will have to figure how to use it.
