Good Beginner Microscope

I bought this as a gift for my niece that is starting to get into science. It's a great price point for young kids looking to get interested in microscopes. Image quality is fantastic, it's easy to use, has great depth of field, and takes great pictures. She is increasingly excited to see what she can look at next. It was easy to set up. We were able to plug and play. I would recommend.

This is fun!

I always wanted a microscope when I was a kid, but I never quite had the opportunity to get one. This is a more fun version anyway; rather than a stationary unit with slides, you can take this anywhere. It does require some steadiness to focus in, but the provided stand helps with that. You can connect it to your PC and see the view on the monitor, or connect with wifi to your phone and truly go portable with the built-in rechargeable battery. The picture I'm including is a closeup of my pants! My kids and I are going to have a lot of fun with this.

Great Product

The initial setup was super easy, it only took me a minute to hook up with a tablet. I just followed the instructions, downloaded the app and let the phone linked to the microscope's WIFI. The app is very to use..It also allows you to take HD pictures & record video of your activity. My kids are totally in love with this new microscope. My 8 years old daughter is doing a bug collection for school & she loves looking at them with this microscope. It is also very useful to fix electrical circuit board.

It easy to connect my cellphone. The app interface is simply. Power input is 5v. When the portable power bank connect to microscope, it will a movable equipment with you to outside to capture you watching objects. The picture quality is same the price.

It's amazing

This is the second mini microscope I bought . I first bought a handheld 60~120X portable microscope and it was very hard to focus and hard to use. Made my eye sore after 2 mins of use. I then bought this one, much easier to use and very clear image, very impressed! My son loved it. Now he is putting all kinds of stuff under the microscope to see it.

Awesome learning tool

This is really cool. I bought it for my son but everyones been using it. I haven't figured out the app yet so I'm just hooking it up with the cable. Its crazy how much you can see! Have you ever seen the inside of an ear? OMG its soooo gross!!!

Learning fun

This is an interesting microscope. I bought it for my nephew because he loves science and he uses his smartphone often. This microscope is a great combination for him to get the best of both worlds since you download the app. It's easy to assemble and the instructions are easy to understand.

Works great! Easy to use.

Got this to check my coins for any errors or double strikes that might make them more valuable. A handheld magnifier is OK, but this will get much closer images and allow you to see. This microscope allows you to take pictures and video of whatever it is you're looking at. It will get a very up close image of whatever you put under it. I've also used it to look at some other random things just for fun. The focus works very well. You can see in my pictures how well it magnifies a penny and a dime. This works great, was very easy to set up, a simple download of the software and it's ready to go. I've used it both on my desktop, and my phone, which is handy so you can take it with you anywhere you want. It comes with a lens cover to keep dust from getting on the lens. I would definitely recommend this microsope.

Nice little compact microscope

Just got this today, but we couldn’t wait to try it out. For such a tiny unit, it is very powerful. Like that it is wireless. Not sure yet how long it lasts on a charge. It works off of a no frills app for the cell phone. This allows you to take it anywhere you need a close up look at something. I expected to be able to focus and get more or less detailed aspects, but it seems that the 50-1000x wheel only focuses. My son is sure to use this for his high school biology class. Overall I’m pleased with this item.
