Despite the spelling mistake on the package, the product itself appear to be of very good quality. The frame is flexible and does stretch a bit, which is very nice when trying to put the plate in. The silicone frame does provide a very snug fit. I found that putting in the corners first made it easier to get the plates in. One detail that I couldn't find on the product description was whether or not it had drainage holes at the bottom of the frame. I saw the product description mentioned "6 holes", but I wasn't sure if that was the holes found on the upper and lower corners of the backside (which are visible in the other sample images, although there are a total of 8 holes). In any case, there are 3 holes at the bottom of the frame that allows water to drain out. Keep this in mind when putting the plates on. I do wish, however, that the frame itself was a smidge thicker. But overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I initially bought just one for the front license plate of my Lexus. But I loved it so much that I bought another one...this time a pair and installed it in the front and the rear of my Toyota. Although I enjoyed having my alma mater's metal license plate holder, these silicone ones are way much better! It's rust proof and does not rattle when I close the trunk or go over speed bumps/potholes. More importantly, I can update my registration sticker without having to remove the holder; there's ample space for the stickers! Installation is also a breeze. The orange tool was very handy for stretching the corners around the license plate so I didn't have to worry about cutting fingers. The slits at the bottom of the holders allow rain water to drain. Highly recommended!

I just installed the license plate a few days ago and it fits the Oregon license plate without blocking the letters like other have indicated. Just the very tip of the O is covered, but that's because they printed the license plate with the O partially on the bevel. There's literally no way to have a *cover* if they're going to put lettering on the last 1/8 inch of space left on the plate. So the the cover works fine, it's the license plate that doesn't believe in bleed room when printing. It rained the day I installed the cover and I could see it draining. The material seems sturdy, I tugged and twisted on it before install. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and value, and I would buy again and recommend to others.

These are a great replacement for the dealer plate frames on my new car, they are slim and allow room for the sticker which the dealer plate frames don’t do and now I don’t have to look at all that advertising. I like the clean look of the black border around the plates. The silicone also eliminates the possibility of the plate touching the car body and scratching it. The tool was really helpful to stretch the frame around the plate. I think in hind sight that it would have been easier if I had put some soapy water on the frames before placing them over the plates.

Great product that provides clean look and protects the back of your vehicle. I was a little skeptical but this is a really durable frame. When I took the plate off there was a definitive scratch line where the plate had rubbed my new Chrysler. Here in Michigan the roads often get the better of you vehicle with bumps and potholes. But this plate frame should provide ample protection all the way around all year round. I like the crisp dark border it now provides my plate. It was extremely easy to install and didn’t need the included spudger. this two pack made a great bargain for both our vehicles, it will look sharp on my truck as well.

My wife and I recently both bought new (to us) vehicles. They looked great, except for the cheesy plastic dealership license plate frames on the fronts and back of each vehicle! I researched what would be the best option these days and the sleek-looking silicone plate frames seemed to be an interesting option. I installed them on both cars yesterday and they are a big improvement over the plastic frames. The silicone makes them pliable and they are very discreet, not covering the state, logo or registration stickers. I mounted them using stainless steel plate screws/bolts and I am using brackets for the front bumpers (recommended: These flexible frames will benefit by a supporting bracket). One note: As is the case these days, Please note: I assure readers that I am submitting this rating purely based upon my experience and perception of how well this product meets my own needs. I don't care about free trinkets as incentives to provide the quality of feedback I would want to see posted here.

This product is an absurdly good value for the money. They were very easy to install (only needed the included tool for my rear plate) and the build quality and fit and finish are superb. Do recommend for both the auto enthusiast and for anyone who just wants to protect their paint; I unfortunately found out the hard way that my previous metal plate frame has worn my paint down all the way to the steel to the point where I’ll probably need to take some rust prevention measures in the near future. This frame, however, gives me no reason to believe it won’t protect both my plate and paint moving forward, particularly because the entire back is silicone with raised edges around the entire plate and pilot holes. Also, to that point, the drain and vent holes are just too good. VERY well thought-out product. They look great on my plates and I have a hard time imagining they’d be out of compliance with any law in the US or Canada regarding obstructing plate lettering or renewal stickers, the latter of which you can put on without having to take your plate off obviously. Even though that doesn’t matter for New Jersey it’s a great perk. I will never purchase a different type of license plate frame/holder ever again, and I’ll probably buy this specific brand. All of my future cars will have these, and considering how well-constructed these are, I have a feeling the ones I just bought will probably make it to more than one car.

This is a very nice minimalist solution for framing your plates and potentially protecting the paint they might otherwise scrape up. Construction quality seems very high. They fit snuggly and like others have noted, are as easy as a phone cover to install over your plates. I didn't need the included tool intended to smooth the installation. Even the packaging was a positive reinforcement - a nice custom zip-lock thick plastic bag. Very nice and well worth the price! I'm not sure why some buyers seem to be disappointed for various reasons; maybe there are variations in the product? Mine are very nice, and I'm generally pretty critical.

I finally wanted to get rid of the plastic dealer plate holders and prevent them from doing more damage to my car's paint. These are durable and weren't difficult to set the plates into: I slid the plate into the bottom of the holder, tucking it into each bottom corner. I then tucked one side/top corner in at a time, then flipped the last top flap over the plate. I didnt need to use the orange stick, but the main trick is to grab the outside rounded side of holder and use that as leverage to tuck the plate in, rather than grabbing the inside edge and trying to pull it over the plate.
