They are thin but this turns out to be what I like most about them.
Initially I was — like many others— disappointed and thought what others thought.."wow, what the heck? These are really thin and not at all what I expected".... And then I set about to use them and realized quickly that the thin design of these trays is exactly what makes them great. The nesting design is absolutely brilliant and makes sorting and stacking and restacking easier than I could have ever imagined. My previous method for managing paperwork was different binders with pockets and it was getting out of control....literally. I was looking for a solution and ran across these EZSTAX trays. Finally a solution I can work with! This brought everything back under my control and so much better than before. I learned that accessing any tray and adding a document is super easy. Just place your finger on top of the label tab that you're looking for and lift up. That tray is now revealed. If I want to work with that tray for an extended period I just set everything above that tray aside. If these trays had a thickness to them OR if they were too rigid this just wouldn't work. I can see that clearly. While they are flexible they are not flimsy and actually the material is quite strong. I've since purchased more and I'm fine tuning the method as I go. I can combine or separate any of these trays in any way I desire. The ability to Group and separate quickly is something I've never been able to do and these trays are literally changing the way I work day to day and I couldn't be happier. Great Product!

If you pile instead of file, you will LOVE these!
As soon as I opened the box, I knew I finally found the perfect product. I am a stacker and have always had piles of papers where I know exactly which pile something is in, but just looks like a huge unorganized mess to others. These allow you to tame those piles and organize in a much easier way. I which I had found these 30 years ago! They provide a tool to allow the stacking to still happen in a way that mimics having the papers filed in a system that would allow others to find something in a hurry if needed. LOVE THEM!

Easy indeed
I’m a pile-er, not a file-er. I finally decided to buy this after looking at it a few times. I like that it is easy to rearrange the stack, and easy to slip in a piece of paper where I want.

Helped tame my paper piles
I supported this product for their Kickstarter campaign. I was looking for a way to tame the paper piles I was accumulating. I am a teacher so paper piles are easy to create, but not always easy to organize. These file stackers work well for me. It is easy to sort by subject or by student. I find it takes up less room than a file box.

Convenient and Compact
These are soft plastic trays that are firm & rigid and look great because they are clear. I liked that they have a tab on each one and come with labels, the tabs are spaced 4 apart so they don't lay on top of each other, this is very convenient. I also like that I can stack them on top of each other, so the space you use for storing them is basically as far apart as the articles you are putting in them. This helps to organize more compactly.

Perfect!
I love the tray organizer. I am a college instructor and I use it at work to stay organized between the eight classes I teach. I like that it is compact and easily stores in my desk. All my papers are readily available and way to find.

For The Over Organized
If you've ever been told that you are "too organized" or that you "have a problem".. this is just the thing for you. I am an Office Manager and this tray system is a great solution for a job that is very paperwork oriented. I use the top tray as my inbox and have the other trays labeled with different types of tasks or areas that I oversee. I periodically sort all the papers in the inbox into the different sections. I then take a section at a time and complete those items, which is much more efficient than switching all around. The trays themselves are basically paint tray liners shaped into paper holders. They are very lightweight and "flimsy", but due to the way that they are designed, this is exactly the way they should be. It is very easy to grab a specific tray out of the stack or to spread several of the trays out across my desk. They hold A TON of paperwork and securely keep your stacks intact when you aren't working on them. I took another reviewers advice and put the provided labels on the underside and wrote on the plastic tabs with a wet erase marker.

Compact and portable filing.
Very pleased with the product; precisely what I was looking for. Amazing customer service (Joe from Ezstax helped fulfill my order due to a packing error quickly and professionally). My initial use cases: Construction paper storage for kids. My prior system involved a disheveled single stack of papers. This allows my kids to grab the whole stack, get the color they want, and put it back neatly. I like that it's not a fixed structure so as paper is consumed it gets smaller. GTD inbox. The second use was to implement these into my GTD workflow to make inbox processing more efficient (replaced some of my persistent project folders and deployed inboxes around the house for the rest of the family).

This is fantastic
I almost didn't purchase because of the other reviews about the plastic being thin and flimsy. And I opened up and thought, "boy this is thin and flimsy." And I started separating my papers putting them in the trays and thought, "This thing is phenomenal." Instead of stacks all over my desk, I have it all neatly organized in one stack. Mail comes in, or something ends up in my inbox. To the trays it goes. I wish I had this 35 years ago.

These work well for my purposes.
Update: There is no option for me to upload my photos for this review. Sorry folks. Tough to rate sturdiness and presentation in stars. For my purposes, these are perfect -exactly what I needed. As one reviewer noted, the plastic is like that used for certain electronic devices - the material that you practically cut your hand off trying to open. From that standpoint, I'd say super sturdy. However, they are not rigid like traditional document trays are. Pliable but not floppy. If you want something strong enough to hold 500 sheets of printer paper, might not be your best choice. The fit perfectly on my desk where needed. Presentation??? I don't know if that's asking about the Amazon presentation or packaging. They came in a flimsy cardboard box, sealed with packing tabs. That was packed inside an amazon shipping box. No issues. As far as Amazon presentation, I believe the information was accurate. It sold me and I'm happy with my purchase. I do think they're a bit over-priced but I'm a tightwad so...
