Beautifully made canvas bag and wooden mallet. Makes great crushed ice! Please remember that wooden tools should be dried IMMEDIATELY, even if they are only slightly wet. NOT dishwasher safe! NO SOAP WHEN CLEANING!

Exactly as-advertised. Good quality. Does the job. My refrigerator ice maker has a “crush” setting, but that has lousy results. This bag & mallet creates much better crushed ice for cocktails such as Moscow Mule, etc...

The ice maker in my freezer only makes cubes. Bought this reasonably priced tool to make crushed ice for cocktails. Canvas bag is super sturdy, should last a long time and the hammer is solid. Kind of feel like "Thor" in the midst of crushing ice LOL. You will need to give the bag a shake every now and then as some of the cubes are stubborn and take a little force at different angles to break down. Loved it so much I gifted a second one to my brother-in-law!

We've been getting into hinted made cocktails over the last few years and so many recipes call for crushed ice... Hand held crushers are too slow and hard to use, and every blender I've tried (even our Vitamix) makes snow, mixed with big chunks. The Lewis bag is perfect! Easy to use, and I get the exact size of chips I want.

This is perfect if you're making one or two cocktails that call for crushed ice. At my house, it's easier than dragging out the blender, and if the day's frustrations are still with you, whacking ice with a mallet is an enjoyable way to get rid of them. The easy care and storage are also a huge plus - I just turn the bag inside out and hang it on the mallet handle until it's dry, and they don't take up much space. Would definitely purchase again.

This surpassed my expectations. The Mallet is great, in fact Thor would be jealous and the bag, sturdy and well made. Great product at a great price. I recommend highly. Fast shipping too.

So if you need to get your frustrations out and need crushed ice this is the way to go. The bag is well constructed and absorbs the moist well. The mallet is a good size and weight. Overall gets the job done with little mess.

Mallet and bag are well built, and seem like they should hold up well to the use and abuse they will receive while crushing ice. If you're looking for perfectly uniform crushed ice this isnt the method for you...this will give you a spectrum of ice sizes from snow like to pea sized chunks...But then again that is part of the charm of crushing by hand! My only suggestion for glacio would be to add a loop to the bottom of the bag so it could easily be hung from a hook to dry.

We really liked this product and we’re going to order two more for our kids anniversary and just found it out of stock. That’s a bummer. More fun and functional than a more complex crusher and works when the power is out. We hope it will be restocked soon.

The wooden mallet seems very sturdy, and the canvas bag is thick and durable. If you don’t have a good set for crushing ice, this will certainly do the job. I can fit probably about four cocktails worth of ice in the bag, so it could be bigger, but that’s not necessary. Good buy!
