You'll find my original feedback below this update. I was originally unhappy with these shorts because they were not knit fabric. Honestly, I may be to blame for bad shopping. I was contacted by the seller in what I believe may have been an auto generated email to check in with their customers and make sure that everything is ok. I responded with my concerns (listed below) and the team responded immediately with a solution that I'm very pleased with. Their customer service was incredible! Therefore I have updated my rating to a five star. I received a new package from Lucky & Me in just 60 hours after reaching a solution. I do love the knit fabric they sent me to replace these. Very soft but I would recommend a smaller size if your Lil guy is on the thin side. :) BEAUTIFUL SHORTS! Here's my original (unchanged) review BEFORE the company resolved my issue: I am disappointed in the texture of these underwear. I assumed that they would be soft cotton, but they're very stiff and uncomfortable. They 'feel' like plastic or polyester although the tag says they're 100% combed cotton. My son has already worn one pair after I attempted to 'wash them softer' but that doesn't work. PS... its all about personal fabric preferences.

My son loves these!

My seven year old son has always worn t-shirt material boxer briefs and they started "giving him wedgies", lol. He requested underwear like his dad's so I searched Amazon for boxers and found these. They are so cute and he LOVES them! I will definitely be buying these again.

So glad to have found these as the size was impossible to find for my son. Took a bit of time to arrive though. If you're not in a rush these are the best find for boys size 4/5. The nautical patterns are adorable, my son loves these.

Exactly what I was looking for...

For a picky seven-year-old who doesn't like boxer briefs, these were perfect. They were true to size and have washed well (100% cotton so they will be wrinkled coming out of the dryer). Planning to order another set.

These fit my little guy perfectly and he seems more comfortable in these than in briefs. I had a hard time finding XS boxers for him, and these fit the bill!

These are for our little grandson and I did wash them (they washed very nicely) but haven't seen him yet to give them to him. I use the boxers for pajama bottoms and embroider on a t-shirt for the top.

These are very comfortable and 'loose'

The shorts fit my son well. The elastic band is not too loose (always a fear) and the material is just simple cotton.

Well made!

Adorable and well made but a bit pricey. My Grandson Alfie loves them. He comes homes every day from school and put on a pair with a T-shirt then plops on the couch for his daily DVD.

Runs small.

They're made with quality fabric, comfortable and soft. But they run small. Order a size larger than you normally do.

Kiddo likes them

My 10 year old asked for boxers like his dad instead of boxer briefs. I thought these were cute and he wears them regularly. They seem to fit well. He’s pretty small for his age.
