Delicious soup

This soup is easy to prepare, though it takes longer than you expect. The instructions say to simmer for 30 minutes, which seemed like a long time to me, but it really did thicken up nicely at around the 25 minute mark and it made the dehydrated potatoes rehydrate fully to taste fresh and delicious. I thought it was a little bit too salty which was helped by adding a little pepper and a splash of lemon juice to the soup to cut down on the saltiness; my husband thought it was fine and even added some shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits as a garnish. This is a nice soup, especially on a chilly day.

Excellent soup starter

Have used this Potato Cheddar Soup for years. I am now on a low carb diet so I ordered it for my adult son who remembered having it as a child. He loves it! He made enough to freeze with clams and corn added. I'm soooo jealous, but happy for him. It's the best and easiest way to enjoy a hearty delicious soup. Add the meat and veggies of your liking, or eat as is.

Tasty and not watery like some mixes!

I seriously love this soup mix. I tried getting mixes from a couple other brands but they turned out watery and meh. This tastes probably as close to homemade as I can get while still being lazy. Makes a decent amount too. Wish it were a little cheaper but I'll still buy it when I'm craving potato soup!
