RZR 900/1000S axle removal

Does it work on a RZR 900/1000S? YES.. it's not perfect but will definitely get the job done. FAR easier than yanking on them, if you can get the tool behind the axles. Suspension on all 4 corners (including a-arms) removed. Rear Left was easy and straight forward. If the axle is gummed up with mud, you may have a tough time wedging the tool behind the axle. Start on the rear driver side. once the axle is out of the transmission, the passenger side axle can be tapped a bit from the other side to loosen it up and add penetrating lube. (front diff this is not possible) Rear Right was too tight to slip the cup tool behind the axle because of the speed sensor on the case. DO NOT break this sensor, but if you do it's $25. I slid the cup tool separately below the muffler between the vertical frame bar and the axle. Front both sides: the cup tool is not thin enough to get behind the axle. I basically hammered it in partially, then used the slide hammer with 1/2" if the tool behind the axles.

Works well!

One slide was all that was needed on a 2007 VW Rabbit driver side axle. They pry part did not slip in between the transmission and the axle. Needed to drill two holes opposite each other, slip a 1/4" bolt through the holes and a flat piece of folded steel bolted on the end of the slide hammer. Lined it up, gave it a strong tug (using a rope tied to the 5 lb weight) and bang! End of nightmare. Will have it handy in case the driver's side axle needs replacing.

It works!

The slide hammer worked as it should. If you’re working on older 90s Honda’s the fork won’t fit or clear on the transmission side so I had to improvise. I used 550 paracord, made two loops and wrapped it around the axle, a couple of hits and it was out.

Worked liked a charm

This cv puller worked as intend and made pulling out my rear cv shaft out of my Honda Rubicon really easy!

Easy to use!

Removed the stuck CV Axle on a 2004 Honda TRX500FA. Didn’t work the first time I tried, but sprayed it w penetrating oil, let it sit overnight then it worked like a charm. Nice tool. Well constructed & very easy to use. Great value for the money.
