Drying, but that’s what it’s there for

I’ve used this brand on and off for over 27 years. I had cystic acne as a teen, and the bar version of this product was my go to. After having laser work done to eradicate my cystic acne 10 years ago, I haven’t had to purchase. Recently broke out due to a medication, and immediately scooped up this creamier version of my adolescent go to. Cleared it right up. It WILL dry you out, but that’s what I needed it to do, so it absolutely deserves 5 stars.

This works. It has really helped with my crazy breakout I’ve been having. I went to the dermatologist and the medicine she prescribed was $600 and didn’t cover through my insurance. I wish I would’ve known about this before I wasted time at the doctors.

Excellent product - 4% is perfect - don't go higher if you have sensitive skin! 10% is way too harsh for most. If 4% does not help, maybe mix with 10%? But don't more than double all at once!

Great for PCOS acne

I have struggled with cystic acne for the passed couple years related to my PCOS. I have looked and tried so many products and nothing helped. When I tried this one I started seeing results the next day!! Love this stuff! Love the price. Will definitely keep purchasing.

I have tried every acne wash made over the years. This stuff is the best even after 5 reorders. It does the trick and I don’t leave home without it.

Clearing up my adult acne

I love this doesn’t have scent added it smells a little medical like hydrogen peroxide but your skin doesn’t smell like that after. As a 30 year old I still have acne and after 2 weeks using this I am seeing a difference. Wish I knew of this sooner :)

Helps calm my hormonal acne

It really is helping to clear up my acne. I use it once nightly as a mask and then wash off. It really helps to dry out my acne. Will buy again.

The acne solution

I've been struggling with acne for years and used to be on a prescription strength benzoyl peroxide leave on topical cream and HATED IT which is why I quit using it. Obviously my acne came back and after trying everything else I finally found this product and am so happy I tried it (thank you Dr. Dray!) The percentage is low enough to be effective but non irritating with other actives (ie Differin) and doesn't bleach everything I breathe on

Black heads? Gone. Texture? Also gone. Dryness? Present.

Look, this isn't for sensitive skin. But acne knows no bounds and sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Honestly this stuff gets into my pores and cleanses my stubborn black heads like no other. It's inexpensive and not too harsh, however you will definitely be a bit dry after each use. I recommend only using this once a day, preferably at night and then following up with a serum and moisturizer. Avoid thin areas like your under eyes and around your lips. By no means is this as harsh as I mean, but if you follow these instructions you will definitely avoid the annoying slightly drying after effects of this stuff. So if you're looking for something to get rid of your black heads and shrink your pores, this is it. Not a miracle product but it's not those other face cleansers that are incredibly expensive that never do a thing. You're welcome.
