Better than I expected, this is a well built unit and was a snap to install with double sided tape, not included. I installed this unit on my new champion 3400 dual fuel generator (see picture). The unit works well in both hight speed and ECO (low speed) operation. I used the tape to make sure it would work first. I will install the 2 screws (included) later if needed. The Champion generator is a quiet and low vibration generator, but this hour meter works just fine with all the possible configuration, gas, LP, high speed and low; load and no load... j

Bought my oldest a Coleman KT196 go-kart for Christmas and wanted something to help track hours for maintenance. Didn't know vibration meters were even a thing but this was great, saved having to mount it close to the engine or run an induction wire to the spark plug. Mounted this on the little dash panel, two screws and a little backup glue, that was it. Cut the wire before install to activate it. Of course there's no way to know about longevity but it looks to be a very well-made unit and so far it is working as it should and logging hours. Plus, my 8-year-old thinks it looks like a real dash gauge :) so that's an added bonus.

The only negatives are: you can't replace the battery (it's completely sealed), and the numbers are a little small. But, it was super easy to install, and it keeps very accurate run time on my Makita compressor. I mounted it on top of the switch box which seems to vibrate more than the rest of the compressor. Money well spent!!!

Wireless Vibration Hour Meter is wireless and easy to install. It is wireless because needs not be wired-attached to the spark plug cable. It works accurately enough to be functional to calculate maintenance intervals in hours of generator use. Installed on top of an inverter generator, on the plastic surface using the provided 2 screws. An alternate installation to consider could use RTV or any plastic-to-plastic removable glue. I will buy it again.

I bought a new air compressor and wanted to track the hours on it. I just drilled into the plate where the motor and pump are mounted and installed this. Very simple installation and keeps track of the hours accurately. You snip a wire to activate it after it is installed so it does not activate in shipping. You want to use where it will be stationary when it is not on to avoid a false reading since it is not too easy to put it back into transit mode.

Use glue instead of screws This is obviously well-built totally sealed the vibration sensor is very sensitive

Installed easily. You may want to buy double sided tape for easy install. Broke in my air compressor for 1 hour and accuracy is good!

Good size, and perfect fit afixed atop my Honda 2k portable generator.

So far so good. I have tracked the use of my pressure washer engine time by double sticking tape to the back of the handle. I have less than 1 hour on the clock but I like that it counts tenths of hours. Useful for gauging my fuel level too.

Works great on my Yong Heng HPA compressor.
