Excellent body tape measure

I bought this product specifically because it had both inches and cm markings on the outside of the tape. Most of these types of products have inches on the outside and cm on the inside, which makes the cm measurements very difficult to use. Personally, I prefer cm since it is easier to record an accurate measurement (important if you are tracking something precise like muscle growth). As a bonus, the tape is black, so it won't yellow over time like a white tape could (I actually had this happen on a previous white body tape measure from another company, so I do suggest you go with the black tape). Since some people are probably interested in the accuracy, I went ahead and verified it as accurate against a yard stick I had lying around. It was dead accurate, so no worries there. Overall I'm very satisfied. Also, the extra non-retractable body tape measure thrown in is a nice bonus.

Wish I had this a long time ago

This is so great. I have always had the hardest time trying to tie measurement tape around me and getting an accurate reading! It was so frustrating. This takes all the hard part out and lets me relax. Worth it!

Quick, Easy, Accurate

I ordered this to measure around the waist of various individuals for ongoing health records. The device is quick and easy to use. Measuring device actually automatically accounts for the 2-inch width of the device. The other tape measure is very standard in appearance and it seems like it is made from good, non-stretching material. Perfect for measuring around the neck.

Works well

I bought this to replace a similar tape measure that broke recently. This one is nice and works as expected. I actually like it better than the one I had before because the tape is slightly textured and doesn't slide around so much. I do wish it were white with black letters because the white letters are a little hard to read at a distance, like if I am standing in front of a mirror and trying to read the tape in the mirror. I don't need to do that very often, so it's not really a problem.

No more fiddling to get it in place or dropping it.

My husband and I have started working out a lot more recently, and he gets discouraged (like many) as he doesn't see the results. I remind him how long it'll take for others to notice and how much longer for him to see a difference, but he's still been feeling discouraged. Then I found this handy little tool. I've had numerous measuring tapes over the years and could never get them to sit quite right, they always felt too loose or too tight, and the worst was constantly losing grip of one end and having to do it all over again. Not anymore! I love how the end of the measuring tape slides into the socket to keep it in place and you just push the button to remove the extra slack. It grips you just enough to et a good measurement without feeling too loose or too tight. Putting it away is east as a breeze as well! I only wish I'd found this for us sooner!

I was sick of using string and a measuring tape.

So, before I kicked off my second Beachbody program I decided to find a better way to measure for before and after progress charts. I saw this and it was at a good price and I am much happier with the reliability of my measurements now. The only gripe I have is how the end of the loop falls out of the notch at times but it still rates a 5 star score.

Does the job well

Ordered it to help track weight loss beyond just using a scale and mirror checks. It does what it is supposed to. It's way easier to use than just trying to do these measurements with a standard body measuring tape (which it includes and seems to be a good, not stretchy quality). Having it lock so you don't have to struggle to make sure you can get a read while it's on you or worry about losing where the end met makes the process quick and easy.

Perfect for body measurements

I bought it so I could know my measurements when ordering clothes online. Without it, you’re guessing based on other manufacturers sizes, and those vary. The measurement clicks so the tape doesn’t snap back into the device once you have it around what you’re measuring, simply press the button and it shrinks the tape to the proper measurements. Even came with a loose clothing tape. Highly recommend, especially if you do a lot of online clothes shopping or get taped for BCA.

Perfect to measure my body!

I was searching for a measuring tool that could be my ally in measuring my weight loss and my progress in my diet program.
