Paired with Idea Indicator, Ditch the Tape Use a Bracket

I used this bracket to install an Idea gear indicator on the ol' lady's Honda Rebel. Looks clean. The bracket appears as if OEM as opposed to using the questionable double sided tape included with the gear indicator. I don't believe it is 3M double sided tape. Some may say this bracket is a tad pricy at $20 for a piece of plastic. I agree. However, the alternative (cheap double sided tape) does not do it for me. The gear indicator, which you can also get at Amazon, runs about $50 currently. So you're looking at about a $75 purchase. This setup will also help new riders by giving them one less thing to think about. Back in your baby riding days, before understanding feedback, if you ever saddled a bike without a gear indicator or a tachometer you know what I mean.
