Better than counterweight

Before purchasing this I wasted time and tried 11oz counterweight on back of unit which only helped a tiny bit. My WAF (wife approval factor) was very low, so I decided to buy this. Installing was a bit weird until I realized there is 4 velcro straps and not 3, the 4th is the middle piece, and it only opens from one side. As soon as I got unit on - wow, incredibly comfortable! The material feels like OEM Stock, as if it came with the Oculus Quest. Great job guys! Wife is now going to steal this from me even more to play her escape games ;) I will recommend this to everyone.

A very comfortable addition

I absolutely love this strap. It makes the quest much more comfortable. It took a minute to understand how to use the strap, but once I figured it out, it made my quest experience much better. The strap significantly reduces the weight on your face. I did not realize how much weight was on my face with the stock set up until I put this on. It is a drastic improvement. It is a very simple design but it successfully moves the weight to the top of your head rather than your face. The strap is made up of a very nice, comfortable material and it is easy to clean with a bit of water and a cloth. Finally, once the strap is on, it is super easy to adjust for different players which is a fantastic feature. This is a fantastic deal and I think anyone with a quest should pick it up.

A must have to improve comfort on the poorly designed original strap for the Oculus quest!

I tested this strap in the original orientation that it's meant to be by attaching the Velcro to the back and positioning the head strap towards the back of the head, imop it didn't feel as effective compared to mounting the strap forward like in the photos I uploaded that allows to help compensate for the front heaviness of the Quest. This helped a whole lot! I also mounted it onto the Frankenquest / DAS Mod that utilizes the HTC VIVE DIGITAL AUDIO STRAP and it definitely made it more comfortable and more of a complete mod!

Super good quality.

This product is even better than I expected. I love my Quest but there is only one big flaw and that is that it gets very uncomfortable because all the weight is in the front. As soon as I installed the headband to the Quest I noticed that the headband is more supported and I no longer feel any pressure in my cheeks; The headband feels like it give more body to the straps and it may not be, but it looks the same kind of material of the original head strap so it matches perfectly, the Velcros feel super high quality and the middle strap helps to keep the headband where you need it . I'm very happy with this product and I do recommend it.

So good it should be Oculus branded.

Once you get the strap adjusted the transformation of pressure vs. comfort is amazing. I'm very impressed by the quality of materials KIWI design uses. The Oculus Quest is so much more comfortable now with this headband strap. I would suggest everyone with a Quest buy this. Such a little investment pays off with huge comfort. This headband in combination with their knuckle straps makes the Quest a much better experience.

Great for comfort and quality

So we purchased 2 of these for our Oculus VR headsets to help distribute weight and provide extra comfort. At first it was hard to notice a difference and ended up adding a counterweight to really “feel” the difference. Well after using the unit without this strap for several weeks you really do feel it!! I regret returning these and will most likely end up purchasing again because they make a huge difference over time! Use one and then try not for a long time. You will feel the difference. This head strap pulls the weight off your head and face. The quality was over what I expected. Excellent feel and quality. Overall it’s a great addition to the Oculus Quest.

A great way to make your headset more comfortable!

I've always found my Quest to be pretty comfortable but this head strap has helped a lot for my extended play sessions especially for long beat saber sessions. This strap in particular is better than most of the other ones I've seen because of the material which is very easy to wipe clean and the design for how it hooks onto the headset. Most of the ones I've seen have required twisting or haphazardly setting the head strap in place. This one has specific loops and is clearly designed for using with the Quest. If you're looking for an easy way to make your headset more comfortable this is a great way to go!

Great product!

Received the head strap today and immediately put it on my quest before a gaming session. It definitely helped with the weight distribution and took a lot of the pressure off my face. Very well made in a simple design. Another awesome product by KIWI! Very happy with the purchase!

Works in unexpected ways

So how this strap works is that it compresses the back part of the headband to the back part of your head creating a counterbalance to the front. It actually doesn’t work like I thought it would which I thought it would hold your head like the vr cover straps. Either way it works and is not bad

Must have accessory!

I am very impressed with the quality of this strap. It makes the Quest much more comfortable to use, especially during longer sessions. Out of the box, the Quest is very front heavy and actually hurts my face and head- sometimes even after only wearing for a short period of time. This strap definitely helps alleviate some of that pain and discomfort. I recommend this accessory 100%!
