4 of Induction is the way to cook - the ability to instantly change temperature is a life changer for electric cooking. The safety of the unit, in that it will not turn on, or stay on if a pan is not present on the burner area is very comforting. And you can’t get burned from touching the cooktop surface! The unit was a drop-in installation when switching from my old GE coil top. The black surface is sleek looking on my warm stained antique-wood counter. Love the speed of heating when needed and the low warmth settings that that are so useful for cooking and keeping food ready to serve. The surface cleans up easily with water and a soft nylon scrubber, with no scratches. I’m very pleased!
