You should get one.
I'm not one to issue 5 stars but having used this 3X now, I just love it! Even though I knew the dimensions, it just seems bigger than I expected, likely because of the high sides. For under $35, it feels very sturdy and well made. Yes, it's heavy, particularly with contents, but the helper handle works well. Cleans up very nicely. For the price, this is just a great pan! Update 4/22/28- I continue to love this pan! For whatever reason, even though it's stainless steel like a couple of other pans I use, it doesn't have the sticking quality that they do. As I said earlier, not one to issue 5 stars but this pan is GREAT!

Great pan, it's our favorite!
Love it! With a gas stove and every pan we've tried, it's been a pain to get anything to cook evenly or to allow food to just simmer without sticking to the bottom of the pan. We finally tried something different and decided on this one after comparing ratings and reading so many positive reviews on this. It's our go-to now! Haven't scorched or burned anything with it, truly does cook evenly, and the sides are nice and deep so it holds all the meats, pasta dishes, and sauces we need for our family of 6.

I love this product!
Highly recommend this item. It is unavailable on Amazon, but I purchased it a while ago and waited to write a review after using a good amount of time. I LOVE THIS PAN!! You need to heat up well before you start cooking otherwise foods get stick to the pan and gets messy. But if you follow the instruction, it cooks perfectly and so easy to clean! Once in a while you need to deep clean with Brillo, but so easy to clean. After I found that Teflon causes cancer, I stopped using all Teflon coated cookwares. I am so glad I bought this product!

Great pan. Destroys the one from walmart
I had a same sized stainless steel saute pan with lid from walmart. I ordered this one to replace it as the one from walmart was too thin for my liking. This pan is a whole other realm as far as quality. the base and sides are much more thicker than the walmart one, and it has much more weight too it. It was a joy to use this one and it heated evenly. good standar pan for a good price. Will be keeping an eye out for other Cooks Standard cookware.

still going strong after heavy use
I like this pan very much - great for sauteing and also for making my big batches of chili or spaghetti sauce - it is very deep - easy to saute the onions and garlic then add the rest of the ingredients. Also great for making my black beans and rice - saute all the veggies, then add rice and broth, put the lid on to cover and very easy. My only very minor complaint is that I used to have a similar pan (that this one replaced) that had a glass top lid, so that I could see what was going on inside without taking the lid off. But other than that, with several times a week use, and just throwing it in the dishwasher after, it is still going strong and very useful

So far its been excellent
We used to struggle with our old fry pan when doing some dishes. The food would get all over the stove and it was a hassle. This pan can handle pretty big dishes and there is no more mess. Its also been very good on heat distribution. Sauteeing onions and mushrooms has been so much easier. Clean up has been very easy. I haven't burned anything yet but its probably like my other stainless dishes and will show no issues with cleaning. I will say its a big pan and the extra handle is needed. If you are a dishwasher person the plan for it to take up lots of space. Overall its been an excellent addition to our kitchen.

Well-made. Very happy with the purchase.
I got this pan for deep fry and daily use. Very happy with it for so far. A little bit heavy for some people. The most popular type of pan has had some sort of nonstick coating which makes me feel uncomfortable. I always have concerns about the coating that might get off a tiny tiny bit each day. This stainless pan is just what I want. Would recommend to anyone who has the same concerns.

Excellent Quality - Glass Lid Would Be Nice
Works great as you'd expect. I'd use more, but I have another of comparable size/quality, but with a glass lid. The glass lid lets me see (briefly) what's going on inside and gives me a greater sense of control. I have a conscious preference for that pan over this one as a result. Still, I use this pan all the time as well, rather than only when that pan is also in use or needs cleaning.

Excellent buy for the money. Cooks like a dream.
The thick bottom, once heated, offers an even cooking over the glass top burner I use, with cooler area on the side, due to the pan being larger than the burner. This can be helpful if browning Brussels sprouts or potatoes for putting the already browned pieces onto the cooler area of the pan. Loving the extra real estate. I intentionally got the larger pan for sauces like tomato sauce, or my garlic sauce. It is an all around great pan. I fried eggs in this pan, second time I used it. They did not stick. I would buy from this maker again.

Great pan that stays flat.
This is a great pan. Dont listen to negative reviews. Stays flat with is great for a flat top stove. Easy to clean just like every other stainless steel pan I own. Nice and big I Fit 2 sausages 3 peppers an 1 onion with room stove spare. The best thing about stainless steel is you dont have to worry about the coating flaking off. Sure some things will stick, but nothing that a little soaking and some good ol fashioned elbow grease wont fix. The biggest plus for me is finding a pan than doesnt warp on the bottom. If you have a flat top stove then this is the pan for you.
