A lot of people have a problem with products made in China these days. I could care less where it was made. This is a very well made and rugged set of tools. The clamp is beefy enough to press even the most stubborn of ball joints. When I received it from the delivery driver I walked straight over to the vehicle I was working on ( 15 yr old pick up ) and with no trouble pressed the old ball joints out and the new ones in in a matter of minutes. I am impressed with it. The instructions leave a little to be desired, but if you are smarter than a rock, and can out think a glass of water, you can figure it out.

I decided to buy this tool after the constant hassle of renting it from AutoZone. Considering what is happening in the world right now I said screw it. I bought this one since it was on the cheaper side and I don’t need anything crazy. Packaging: This was packaged well and the zip tie keeping it shut made sure I didn’t have bunch of loose tools floating around an Amazon box. The plastic holder is a little thin and a tare is visible by the clamp, but honestly that’s just being picky. Overall: I have used it 4 times now on an ATV and it hasn’t had any issues. It was able to press out and press back in 2 ball joints on a Grizzly 660. I was even able to push out 2 wheel bearings on the machine with this tool. It did great and honestly if you need one for a home shop I highly recommend this one. It’s not expensive and works, that’s really all you can ask for from a tool. If I have any issues I will update this review and include pictures.

My husband is a motorhead and loves spending time in the garage working on one of his many projects. This kit is going to be an awesome addition to his many tools. I was surprised that for such a reasonable cost this kit is very well made. The pieces are made of steel and all fit together nicely in a plastic carrying case. The carrying case is a simple addition but it makes a world of difference. He was able to easily replace the ball joints in my car with this kit and said it worked out well. He used to have a kit similar but it didnt have a case and over the years he lost a few pieces. Everything worked exactly as it should and my car is back on the road. Very satisfied with our purchase.

Worked great on the 27 year old ball joints on my Ram 2500 (the heavy duty 8800 gvwr version, which is a light duty truck). It's not a replacement for spraying PB the day before, a torch, air hammer. If you want an indestructible tool, spend $580 on the Snap-On press.

This thing works fine and never shows any signs of bending or wear. Anyone claims that this kind of thing may bend during use, but it has not been used as expected. C-clamps are very thick and heavy ... probably one of the best tools from China. This is definitely one of the few cheap tools I would recommend to anyone.

Used properly, this tool works. It comes with the right set of accessories for what I wanted to work on. I have used it to replace the original completely gone ball joints on a 2009 Escape. The driver side ball joint did resist a lot but the tool performed just fine and it took just fine the extra humpfs I applied to it. No bending in my case. I would buy it again if it was lost or stolen.

Definitely a value for the money I've had to rent these types of tools before generally they work excellent and I've always been able to get the job done this unit is actually heavier than ones I've rented before the steel is very thick and solid So I don't see why this shouldn't last me a while.

Ordered this to rebuild the front end of my old truck. What a time saver. Heavy duty and worked like a champ. Wish I would have bought one years ago.

good results. Apply pressure, then hit the long threaded parts with a hammer, and then tighten. Perform this process back and forth and the old ball joint will press to the right. The installation effect of the new ball joint is the same. The price is good and I am happy to know that I used this tool in my arsenal when I needed it instead of having to go to the local auto parts store to rent a car every time.

I’ve had to rent a ball joint press in the past. It costs more to rent for a couple hours than this one does to own. This unit is very heavy and made of strong steel. Looking forward to having it on hand for future auto projects.
