Easy to install, great picture.

Easy to install. Ran my own Cat5e to a PoE switch over wireless bridge. Great picture. I use ispy (freeware) to record all motion alarms and this camera is fully compatible. Will be buying another, for sure.

Simple installation and flawless connection to WiFi

This is the third Foscam product I have purchased. All have performed excellently. This camera is the latest addition, it has a sturdy housing that should withstand the various weather conditions of the NW. It was easy to attach to the house, and upon throwing on the power, it immediately found my WiFi. Enter the password and it was operational. The picture quality is stunning during daylight hours and the night vision is exceptional. I didn't subscribe to the cloud service, instead I installed a 32g memory card. The only caveat is the card must be formatted Fat not extended Fat. It works like a charm. The only negative is the extended range of the focus has a fish-eye appearance but the focus is still within the range that is advertised. Very pleased so far and it has been working for three months so far.

Very good cameras

I bought four of these for home surveillance. Very happy with them, especially for the price. Pros Very good quality picture Easy to install Easy to access by phone app or on a computer Small, unobtrusive and almost unnoticeable Come in either white or black to blend in Cons Require an electric outlet at the site of the camera (although they do offer a battery powered camera ant a higher price) You need WIFI at the site of the camera (one of mine is in my garage and WIFI is spotty - Works sometimes and sometimes doesn't)

Awesome product

I usually don’t leave reviews but I just have to commend the manufacturer of this product. Installation was very very easy. Settings didn’t take more than 5 minutes and I have a live recording. The cloud option to store memory is a bit expensive but if you purchase a 128GB memory card you’d save more. In less than 20 minutes after receiving the product I have a live surveillance system for both front and back of my house. It notifies you of movements and sends an alert to your phone. You also see live video footage of your property. Definitely a good purchase. The only negative thing about it is that the wire is too short and a bit bulky. Besides that it is perfect.

Easy setup, Blue Iris compatible, human vs motion detection

I bought this camera because I needed a camera with a wide angle, good night vision, and higher resolution than my old OC810-adt camera (due to video artifacts being interpreted by Blue Iris as motion). I downloaded the Foscam app on my phone for the initial setup, but don't really need it after setup due to being able to change the camera settings in my browser, and Blue Iris handles all of the recording/alerts. I haven't bought the external speakers yet, so I'll wait on uninstalling the app until after I've verified 2-way audio functionality in Blue Iris. So far, the human detection has eliminated the false alerts, but will need more time to tell if it's flawless. I like the flexibility of using either the wireless antenna, or the RJ-45 network port for networking. I'll use the WiFi for now, but will probably run a network cable in the future. I plan to buy more, replacing all of the older cameras, and filled in some monitoring gaps in my house.

Very good video quality and works perfect with the Alexa skills

Description says that it has built-in microphone and speaker. This is totally inaccurate. All it has is an audio cable for a mic and speaker in which you have to buy separate. Otherwise I would have given this camera five star rating. UPDATE: the seller has corrected the issue in regards to the built in mic and speaker so I'm upgrading my rating now to five stars. The camera has excellent video quality and works great with the Alexa skill!

Support is outstanding

I have 4 Foscam cameras guarding our vacation home. When one of our cameras failed I contacted Fosca support as the camera was out of warranty. Yiko Deng of Foscam support was just outstanding getting this resolved for me and arranged a replacement camera to be sent out. I run a large customer support team here in he US and Yiko could work for me anytime. Outstanding customer support. Even way after the sale. Thank you Yiko and Foscam.

Nice Camera

So far so good. The picture quality is good, both daytime and nighttime. The app itself has bad review in App Store. After I used for 1 day, I almost wanted to return the item since I never got any notification. Later I found I had to turn on the notification in the setting myself. After I turn on the notification, the camera will send me notification for both abnormal sound and movement. The 8h cloud recording is free for one year and it was very useful. Unlike some other app only record for several seconds, this one can record for very long. It make me feel safe to be able to see what is my kid doing when I’m away.

Powerful software and great Image Quality

This is the third camera I bought from Foscam store because they are easy to install and use.The app is easy to use and it is user friendly.Excellent Foscam Camera So far.I can monitor my yard and garden,This is important if you're having issues outside your house at a certain time.Great buy!

Good Value for the Price

I have Foscam camera's and highly recommend them. For the price the value you get is really good. The only issue I have is the Foscam app doesn't have the best software but you can use other app's to monitor your camera footage. The clarity and motion detection are good I cannot complain.
